From 2010 to 2014, the world witnessed one of the best supercars, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, a successor of the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL and the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. Once production of the SLS was announced, it had shoes that would be hard to fill. In stepped the Mercedes-AMG GT in 2014. A grand tourer made in the coupe and roadster body styles. Multiple variants of the GT were made. One of these was the Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster, the roadster version of the performance-oriented GT C coupe. Introduced at the Paris Motor Show in 2014, the AMG GT is was the second ever sports car to be developed in-house by Mercedes-AMG after the legendary SLS AMG. The car certainly had a big reputation to uphold, and it did, being considered now as one of the most exciting examples of German automotive craftsmanship that you could ever have on a track. Available as either a coupe or roadster, the AMG GT saw a number of variants released over the years, one of them being the performance-oriented GT C version as featured here.
