The trim tag of this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle reflects an original SS396 car assembled in the third week of March at the Kansas City plant with a Cortez Silver paint code. The original engine has since been replaced by a 454 big block backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. This Chevelle was recently repainted in Hugger Orange and many original parts were retained both inside and out. This 1969 Chevelle SS is being offered from the Exotic Car Trader collection with a clean title and a clean Carfax.

This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle bears the correct SS396 blackout grille and extensions along with a black rear panel and double-domed hood. Many original exterior components were retained after the recent Hugger Orange repaint, most notably the tail lights and rear bumper. Signs of a previous orange paintjob are visible in the door jambs, the engine bay has been repainted in black, and the trunk floor appears to be original. This Chevelle is believed to have maintained a no-hit rust-free body since new. The interior has been reupholstered with many original parts retained, including the correct SS 396 trim piece located above the glovebox. Signs of age are noted throughout. Upgrades include a full suite of white Dolphin gauges and a white Chevelle shift knob along with a Pioneer head unit, a Grant steering wheel, and all-weather floor mats. The aftermarket odometer shows 3,404 miles at the time of listing and is believed to have been reset.

The original engine has been replaced by a 7.4-liter 454 big block backed by a 4-speed manual transmission and a 12” rear end. Nearly every engine bay component has been replaced or upgraded – notable components include power steering, a new starter, MSD digital ignition, an MSD coil, and an oversized aluminum radiator. The alternator, valve covers, air breather, intake, headers, and hoses are modern as well.
