You've probably already heard of the Ford Super Duty series; a lineup that consists of competent vehicles designed to go places that most other cars and trucks can't. Among them is the F-350, one of the larger pick-up trucks in the Super Duty lineup. Sure, the F-350 was more than capable already, but the massive truck lacked playfulness, which is when Super Duty Experts MegaRexx decided to come up with the Mega Raptor. The name speaks for itself — Mega Raptors are more formidable, meaner machines that make a standard Super Duty look subtle. The F-350 Mega Raptor featured stands tall in Nevada and currently has just 48,436 miles on the clock.
This XLT F-350 Super Duty Donor truck has received a complete MegaRexx stage one conversion. The stage one conversion consists of an all-black Raptor-style front grille, 3 LED amber front grille lights, a powder-coated dark grey "smasher" front tube bumper with taper, and a 42-inch light bar that's wired into switches for the front bumper and curved to fit the front tilt hood. Along the sides are AMP Research XL steps with a rock slider trim. You see a custom-built rear tube bumper and a spare tire on the bed that comes with a bed cage at the rear. This machine rides on 3-piece aluminum MRAP wheels with diamond-sanded rock rings wrapped in massive 46-inch Michelin tires. The suspension is handled with Icon dual shocks with an Icon dual steering mounting plate, Icon front steering stabilizer, and MegaRexx radius arms. The Interior of this Mega Raptor maintains its originality, with the standard F-350 trim, consisting of a grey interior with silver accents and a set of grey and black two-tone leather seats.
The beating heart of this monster is the second-generation 6.7L Powerstroke turbodiesel V8 that's pushing close to 450 hp and 860 lb-ft of torque. Power is put to the tarmac via a 6-speed automatic transmission. For those who need to lug heavy cargo and trailers, the Mega Raptor is capable of towing up to 26,500 pounds.
