This 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 is a highly customized example with extensive exterior and interior modifications. Finished in black over black leather, this D90 is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission. Among the modifications are exterior and interior components from Kahn Designs, a myriad of LED spot and fog lights, and other modifications listed below. It is believed to be an NAS (North American Specification) Defender, but while the Carfax does not show any history outside of the United States, two major NAS indicators are missing: the CATALYST stickers at the hood and the driver’s footwell are absent. This Defender 90 is being offered on consignment with a clean title, clean Carfax, and less than 86,000 original miles.

This 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 has been extensively modified with a focus toward on-road use. The body sports wide fender flares, side steps, a modern front bumper and grille, and stainless mesh vents, all made by Kahn Design in England. The gloss black Kahn Defend 1983 wheels and matching spare are size 18”x8” and wear BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A tires. This Defender 90 also features a Puma bonnet, black Defender badging, and a bevy of LED driving lights. The full list of exterior modifications can be found below. The interior of this Defender 90 has been modified to a similar degree. The front seats have been replaced with Kahn Design GTB Sport Seats finished in quilted and perforated black leather with deviated red stitching, a theme that extends to the center console, dashboard, and door cards. A Kahn billet aluminum steering wheel, black Alcantara headliner, and a Bluetooth navigation system round out the interior modifications. Minimal wear is noted throughout. This Defender features air conditioning and an NAS gauge cluster which displays 85,708.2 miles at the time of documentation.

Under the bonnet lies a Range Rover-sourced fuel injected 4.0-liter V8 backed by a ZF 4-speed automatic transmission. Available in 1997 only, this mill produces 182 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque and drives all four wheels through a full-time four-wheel drive system. A Kahn Crosshair exhaust provides enhanced sound to match the commanding exterior.
