Recently upgraded by The Creative Workshop in Dania Beach, Florida, this 1968 Dodge Charger R/T clone packs a modern driveline and luxury interior appointments. According to the VIN breakdown below, the original powerplant was a 6.3-liter 383 V8 which has since been replaced by a fuel injected 392 crate motor. Every mechanical aspect of the car was addressed during that time, but some rust issues are cropping up from a previous paintjob as shown in the photo gallery. A driver-quality car overall, this 1968 Dodge Charger R/T clone is being offered on consignment with a clean title and a clean Carfax.

Despite packing a fiery 392 V8, this resto-mod Charger looks mostly stock from the outside. The correct first-year R/T trimmings have been added including badging, wheels, and a set of red stripes at the rear. Rust issues are noted on the body behind the rear wheels and along the trunk edges, and patina is present on some of the brightwork, lights, and trim pieces throughout the exterior as shown in the photo gallery. The cabin space has been fully upgraded with custom leather upholstery, a custom dashboard, and a custom center console. A full suite of analog gauges has been added along with a Vintage Air A/C system and one-off interior lighting and accents. A Pioneer sound system features prominently between the rear seats with speakers arranged throughout the cabin. A new headliner, new carpeting, and full Dynamat lining were added during the interior restoration. Charger R/T logos are found on the dashboard and floor mats.

This 1968 Dodge Charger originally packed a 383, but that powerplant has recently been replaced by a 392 Hemi crate motor backed by an automatic transmission. An aluminum radiator and electric pusher fan were added, a custom driveshaft was fabricated, and an Optima Yellow Top battery was installed in the trunk. New suspension and braking components were installed along with a modern exhaust system. Please contact us for more information about the custom upgrades and coachwork on this ’68 Charger.
