It quickly rose to become the best no-nonsense off-roader that could take on anything from rocky trails to muddy bogs. Unfortunately, like most good things, its production run temporarily ended in 1996. Fast forward to 2021, Ford reintroduced the Bronco, and even though we loved to see it back, it was quite a disappointment that it wasn't launched with a V8. Nonetheless, the V6 was enough, especially in the Raptor spec Bronco that would go under Hennessey's wing in the same year. The result was an extreme off-roader that's probably the best Bronco you can get your hands on. The Hennessey Performance Bronco Raptor has the same 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 as the standard Bronco, but thanks to Hennessey's VelociRaptor 500 upgrade, it produced 500 horsepower and 550 lb.ft. That's 88 horsepower and 110 lb.ft more, which enhanced the car's dynamism on every surface. 0-60 mph takes just shy of 6.0 seconds, which is not much different from the standard Bronco, but every mph feels more brutal. The top speed increases from 114 mph to around 120 mph. A supercharger couldn't be added as Hennessey does to most cars they tune, so in addition to the exhaust, the engine got an upgraded heat exchange, high-flow air filtration, and a tune, hence the power increment.
