I tried for about a month to sell my GT500 on marketplace. I called Joey at Exotic Cars just to see about their process. Before the end of a conversation, I knew I was going to list my car through them to try to help me sell. We started out a little slow as my car was not the norm for the ad copy writers. With Colton's help, we got a very accurate representation of what I was offering. Initially, response was Luke warm. After a few weeks, I considered pulling the ad, feeling that the market was soft and most interest was coming from people looking for a deal they could turn for a profit next year. Colton convinced me I was priced right and the right buyer had just not come along. It took a little while, but one day I got a call saying we had an interested party with some questions. This individual knew exactly what he wanted and needed to verify I had it. He sent an inspector to verify the car and within a couple of days, we had a deal. I just loaded my "oldest child" in a car trailer headed to his new home on the other side of the country. It hurt, but I'm confident he will have as big a fan club there as he had in Motown.
