Even though the DB9 didn’t feature in a Bond film, it’s definitely worthy of being the superspy’s car. With those sleek lines and unmistakable Aston Martin design features, the DB9 was produced between 2004 and 2016. It came with that superb 5.9-liter (incorrectly called a 6.0-liter due to judicious rounding up) V12 under the hood, as well as a finely crafted interior. Exterior and Interior
Silver, the color of many Bond cars, is what this 2019 Aston Martin DB9 wears as well. It’s a superbly neutral shade that is loved by nearly everyone. You can’t find fault with a silver car, after all. Plus, it’s pretty easy to maintain, unlike, say, black or conversely, white. This particular car rocks a nice set of silver double five spoke alloy wheels too. Behind these lie dark gray brake calipers with Aston Martin branding, while there’s a set of clear tail lamps at the rear. Engine
The 5.9-liter V12 that moves this 2019 Aston Martin DB9 is a lovely thing to listen to. Thanks to its natural aspiration, it revs freely, making a reported 450 horsepower at 6,000rpm. The torque peak of 420lb-ft comes in at 5,000rpm. A 6-speed automated manual transmission sends power to the rear axle. Zero to sixty takes a factory claimed 4.9 seconds, with a 186mph top speed.
