Bentley has been building cars that thrilled and excited for over a century, all with exceptional engineering, using the finest materials. Each car was created for the motorist who doesn't want to compromise on luxury or performance, and the same can be said for the Flying Spur when it was first unveiled. This 2015 iteration of the Bentley Flying Spur might feel like a leviathan from the outside but feels elegant, fresh, and alive while behind the wheel, all thanks to the powerful W12 engine at the front. Featuring the Mulliner specification, this Bentley has only 2,300 miles reported on the clock; this automobile is in pristine condition, built for the enthusiast in you.
Featuring the typical Bentley style, you can tell this car is a Flying Spur from a mile away, judging by the car's distinct silhouette. The elegant curves and wide body sprawls out, creating a stable, elegant, and simply designed vehicle that is aesthetically pleasing in every way from front to back. The Glacier White exterior adds an element of purity to this Bentley's feel, and with the brightly chromed lower bumper, which also sports a matrix-style grille, you know that this car also has a bit of personality to it. The iconic Bentley branding is sparse, and the 21" painted wheels help this car cast a striking image. Stepping inside the Tan interior, you'll find yourself in one of the most comfortable interior spaces in all modern automobiles. Every element feels premium to the touch, from the wood and hide, hand-stitched 3-spoke steering wheel to the embroidered Bentley emblems and the comfortable tan leather seats. The center console has a storage case, and each control option on the center console is tactile and responsive. Your feel will enjoy the front and rear deep pile overmats, and the drilled alloy sport foot pedals as your hand reaches for the knurled sports gear lever. Then again, you don't even have to do that with the mounted gear selector on the steering wheel. The Naim premium audio system comes with a CD changer, perfect for long drives.
But the car makes plenty of music on its own, thanks to the massive, powerful 6L Twin Turbo W12 engine paired with an automatic transmission. The powerful engine propels this massive vehicle to 60mph from a standstill as fast as a sports car, thanks to delivering over 600 horsepower. The engine is smooth and features cruise control, another feature perfect for long cross-country drives when needed.

Today’s luxury cars are dripping with tech, and possibly packing electric powertrains as well. They’ll do everything you ask for except make you a cup of coffee. But with all those electronic systems, computer menus and digital displays, things can get a bit impersonal. After all, a slew of touchscreens doesn’t feel luxurious, does it? That’s why if you want a bit of old-school luxury, a car like this 2008 Bentley Continental GT is the perfect way to go. It’s got a powerful yet whisper quiet V12 under the hood, and comes with plenty of modern features. Yet, those features are largely controlled by tactile buttons and knobs instead of finicky menus on a soulless touchscreen. Coming to you from Lawrence, New York with a mere 19,156 miles reported on the odometer, this car is ready to be your daily driver if you want a bit of digital detoxing without having to go into the 1960s.

Coachbuilding is an art form from a bygone era. While a coachbuilt Bentley is almost unheard of these days, a few decades ago it was not so uncommon for Bentley customers to have their car sent to a coachbuilder to commission a more exclusive body. One such example is this exquisite 1951 Bentley Mark VI Special Boattail Speedster. The Mark VI was introduced in 1946 as Bentley’s first post-war model. The chassis were provided to independent coachbuilders and were built as 4 door saloons, 2 door saloons and 2 door drophead coupes. It was also available with a factory body, the “Mark VI standard steel sports saloon”, a 4-door saloon. 1202 4 ½ Litre models were built between 1951 and 1952, with just 180 of them being coachbuilt. Part of the reason for the low overall production numbers was the shortage of steel in Europe, which reportedly led to used models appreciating in value. Some of the more well-known coachbuilt models were those done by H.J. Mulliner, but many other coach-builders also commissioned these cars, including this example built by Northern Coachbuilders of Derbyshire, England.
The Alpina B8 is perhaps the pinnacle of this niche vehicle manufacturer's range. Luxury in everything your hand can touch, and a pair of Weber carbs and a crank on their logo, reflecting the company's roots as a tuner. The first proper Alpina was not the old Fiats and Beetles that founder Burkard Bovensiepen tinkered with in his youth, but the A1 based on the BMW E21. Inevitably, they turned further away from being an outright race manufacturer towards focusing on their bespoke luxury models. Today, we have incredible examples like this 2023 BMW B8 Alpina Gran Coupe as a result. With as little as 9,494 miles on its clock, this beauty is available for sale in Cottleville, Missouri.
Little did Mercedes-Benz envision that their tough and capable G-Class would become one of their most luxurious vehicles as time passed by. When the automaker created the G-Class on a request made by the Shah of Iran in the late 1970s, it was envisioned as a military vehicle with a civilian variant available as well. As time passed by, the G-Class gained a formidable reputation for its off-road prowess, with many pro off-roaders swearing by it. However, by 1990, Mercedes-Benz saw a segment that would value a decent amount of off-road ability paired with ample luxury and comfort features. Hence, the W463 generation of 1990, which was made until 2018 before being updated to the W463 Second Generation. Today, we’ve got a 2018 Mercedes-Benz G550 Limited Edition for sale in Newton Square, Pennsylvania with a mere 53,370 miles to its name. So if you’re seeking the ultimate luxury family hauler that can easily go off-road, here’s the ideal candidate to grace your garage and enrich your life.
