Launched in April 2014, BMW's groundbreaking i8 hybrid sports car was a revelation. Even in 2022, two years after production ended, it looks futuristic. The i8 was well received wherever it was offered, with over 20,000 produced. That's not bad for something capable of scaring a variety of European and North American sports cars. This 2015 BMW i8 Pure Impulse World Coupe is your chance to own one of BMW's icons, and with just 21,000 miles on the clock, it's got a lifetime ahead.

Take away the wheels, and the BMW i8 could almost pass for an interstellar object. Its slick shape, butterfly doors, and ability to silently pass by on electric power make it a head-turner wherever you take it. This 2015 BMW i8 Pure Impulse World Coupe wears a Sophisto Gray Metallic paint job with Frozen Blue accents and rolls on 20-inch staggered wheels. Its LED headlamps with cornering lamps pierce the darkness with great efficiency. Black brake calipers starkly contrast with the brightly colored units that one might expect on a sports car, but the i8 isn't about conforming to the typical sports car stereotype. The interior color theme is Pure Impulse Carom Spice, and it offers seating for two adults and two children. Fully perforated leather adorns the interior with an Anthracite headliner. As you might expect, this 2015 BMW i8 Pure Impulse World Coupe offers a comprehensive feature set. Dual-zone climate control, heated and electrically adjustable front seats, digital instrument cluster, and BMW's iDrive infotainment system are all standard. A Harman/Kardon speaker system is on hand for music lovers. There's some luggage space available in the front trunk and storage spaces in the cabin.

Just like the look of the i8, its powertrain was equally impressive. This 2015 BMW i8 Pure Impulse World Coupe packs an electric motor to drive the front wheels and a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged engine behind the passenger cabin. This gasoline powerplant drives the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic gearbox. These two powerplants combine to give a system total of 357hp. Zero to sixty is a 4.4-second affair, with top speed electronically limited at 155mph. The i8 can also travel for up to 15 miles at a time purely on electric power.

This 2017 BMW i8 Protonic Frozen Black Edition represents a distinctive intersection of advanced automotive engineering and contemporary visual art. Originally delivered as part of BMW’s limited Protonic Frozen Black series, this example has been transformed into a one-of-one automotive art piece through a fully customized exterior created by artist Mr. Collage. The vehicle extends beyond conventional definitions of performance and design, positioning it as both a technological showcase and a collectible cultural artifact.

This 2015 BMW i8 stands out as a coveted early-production example equipped with the top-tier Pure Impulse World package, making it one of the most premium configurations available. Finished in Crystal White Pearl Metallic w/ Frozen Blue Accents, it carries the most iconic i8 look while pairing it with the Pure Impulse Carum Spice Full Perforated Leather interior—BMW’s highest interior specification for the model year. The combination of hybrid performance, exotic butterfly-door styling, and a $150K original MSRP positions this i8 as a futuristic grand-touring sports car with a luxury-focused package rarely seen on standard trims.

BMW’s futuristic i8 caused quite a stir way back in 2013 when it launched. Here was a vehicle that, if you digitally removed its wheels and wheel arches, would look like a spaceship. In fact, the i8 is the result of BMW’s Vision EfficientDynamics concept car basically being put into production almost as-is. Spearheading the start of the ‘i’ sub-brand of cars from BMW, the i8 remains not just a curio, but a historically significant model in the Bavarian automaker’s long legacy. Today’s 2016 BMW i8 represents one way to enjoy a slice of that fine cake. This Utah-based machine has traveled just under 47,000 miles so far and comes with the Tera World Package.

BMW’s 3-Series is a fine compact luxury car, embodying BMW’s spirit of creating the Ultimate Driving Machine. The default choice for many petrolheads for decades, BMW had the bright idea of pushing the envelope and creating a halo variant in the mid 1980s. Their efforts came to fruition with the E30 M3 that ran between 1986 and 1991. With its fizzy four-cylinder engine and myriad performance enhancements, the letter-and-number pairing of M3 quickly gained a reputation. Ever since then, every 3-Series has been accompanied by an M3. Engines grew from four to six to eight cylinders, and then went back to six, albeit with turbocharging. This particular 2023 BMW M3 Competition from Sunset, Texas is from the current G80 series and has just 5,000 miles on the clock. Plus it’s got the Competition Package for an even more hardcore driving experience, while retaining the family-friendliness that the 3-Series is known for.

BMW are masters at finding new segments and predicting customer preferences, sometimes even before customers know it themselves. Take their line-up of Sports Activity Coupes, for example. These are SUVs with coupe-like sloping rear profiles, blending the shape of a sports car with the practicality of an SUV. The biggest Sports Activity Coupe (SAC) that you can get from BMW is the X6. That’s what we have here today, a 67,941-mile 2021 BMW X6 sDrive40i from Jacksonville, Florida. It’s got the M Sport Package, Executive Package and a set of 22-inch M Double Spoke Bi-Color wheels too. And of course, it comes with all the usual BMW refinements and tech toys that you’d expect from the German luxury automaker’s products.

The one that strikes fear into many midsize or executive car makers, the BMW M5 has been setting the template for a fast family car for over forty years since the first one came out in 1984. It’s become a de facto member of the 5-Series line-up ever since, sitting at the top of the range, and offering supercar-chasing performance in a four-door package. Today’s 2022 BMW M5 Competition Package comes from Boca Raton, Florida and is from the F90 era of 2017-2023. With just 30,000 miles, this car packs the Appearance Package and was reportedly certified six months ago. If you want a family car that’s sure to knock your socks off, you can’t go wrong with a M5.
