The long wheelbase (LWB) Range Rover provides an extra 7.3 inches of rear legroom over the standard wheelbase (SWB) model, creating more comfortable space. One of the LWB models is the Range Rover P530, a top-of-the-line Land Rover SUV made for the affluent. Brabus upgraded this SUV with an innovative approach to modification, building more elegance and functionality with exceptional design concepts and technology. The resulting model is the Brabus 600 P530, a Range Rover at its core but a Brabus at heart. As a tuning company, Brabus also revised its engine to get the most out of it. Before exploring the upgraded cabin and body style, let’s see how much power it has.
The Brabus 600 Range Rover has a 4.4-liter V8, the same engine powering Range Rover P530, but upgraded by the BRABUS PowerXtra LR44-600 Performance Kit to make 600 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, mated to a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. The extra power allows for a 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds, 0.1 seconds faster than the P530. Sure, there’s not much difference, but it’s all about ride quality. Therefore, Brabus upgraded the suspension with a SportXtra control module, which lowers the ride by 20 mm to provide a more stable ride at high speeds and increases it to the desirable height for comfort. And speaking of speed, it’s limited to 155 mph, the same as the P530, which is impressive for a 5,530-pound SUV.
Given that Range Rover is the premium brand under Land Rover, that should tell you a lot about the design decisions in the P530, on which the Brabus 600 P530 is based. You would expect a LWB SUV to have three rows, but it has two for seating four. The entire cabin has a pistachio-inspired color scheme on the seats, headliner, dashboard, and door panels wrapped in handmade seashell quilted leather. These multi-contour seats also have heating and massaging functions on top of the soft and breathable leather for comfort and luxury. Subtle details like the BRABUS emblems, a 600 embossing on the headrests, and LED logos differentiate it from the P530, but you'll still tell it's a Range Rover.
Brabus 600 P530 pays homage to Range Rover by retaining the front grille design, but the logo has been replaced with the Brabus emblem for its identity. The lower part of the bumper looks completely different from the P530, with functional blacked-out air curtains and splitter finished in shadow chrome. It has 24-inch BRABUS Monoblock ZV "Platinum Edition" forged wheels that give it a bold look. The bumper has also been revised on the rear end, incorporating dual tailpipes finished in carbon fiber. On the side, it retains the Range Rover running boards and the side steps with a Brabus logo. Standard builds are finished in Santorini black with a glossy finish on the exterior for an exclusive and premium look.
For entertainment, the Brabus 600 P530 has an 11-inch display running on the Pivi-Pro system that supports touchscreen controls. It's the same system used in the Range Rover, but it is customized like most of the features of the SUV. The center and back seat consoles retain the control knobs and buttons of the P530, but they’re revised to add a touch of elegance. The interior has displays and tactile buttons throughout the cabin to control the infotainment system and various functionalities of the SUV.
The Brabus 600 P530 is priced at $490,000, which is quite expensive compared to the $168,025 starting MSRP for a 2025 Range Rover P530. However, it's unsurprising since most Brabus upgrades cost more than the base models. If you are looking for one, check out our Land Rover listings, which have several Range Rovers for sale.
Range Rover is a luxurious sub-brand of Land Rover, meaning cars like the P530 have it all. But according to Brabus, it can have more. Therefore, the creation of the Brabus 600 P530, an upgraded version that performs, feels, and looks more sophisticated than its base car. It's the SUV for those who don't settle for ordinary.
