If the Delray moniker doesn’t ring a bell, that’s probably because it was far scanty than other Chevy models available at the time. It started life as a promising trim level from 1954-1957 and matured into its own model for its final year of 1958. It goes without saying that you stumbled upon a rare catch with this 1958 Chevrolet Delray 2 Door Sedan 327. According to the current owner, all documentation and receipts of the full restoration are available. Located in Florida, this old timer is prepared to take on the contemporary world with its modern additions.

Exterior and Interior

Yes, we said it is a bit modernized to go with today’s world. Though if you walk around this majestic 1958 Chevrolet Delray 2 Door Sedan you will be greeted with every line, curve, slope, and sharp edges that blend in to formulate its beautiful classic silhouette. It flaunt a two-tone paint job done in Metallic Gold and White that give out an opulent mien. The front fascia is adorn with the broad grille under the quad headlights and at the far back are fan-shaped alcove on both sides, quad taillights and dual exhaust. It gracefully rides on 15” wheels in Metallic Gold to match the exterior colors and you get disc brakes up front too. Moving on to the interior, you can enjoy a cabin furnished in tan and white. The current owner have reported a modern radio upgrade, aftermarket A/C and power steering to make your driving experience more pleasant.

Engine

This refined 1958 Chevrolet Delray 2 Door Sedan bears a 327ci V8 engine, a well-known modification to the 1958 Delray. The 365 horsepower delivered by this engine is under your control thanks to the four speed manual gearbox with a Hurst shifter. We were told that this engine boasts HEI, electric fan and Edelbrock intake and manifolds. Now it’s your turn to enjoy this golden classic on sunny weekends.
