Another one of their specialties is the Chevy K5 Blazer. So, if you want an immaculately restored K5 Blazer with modern mechanicals and creature comforts wrapped with a classic body, select this 1969 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Velocity Signature Series as your next ride. It’s something that you’ll cherish, and enjoy driving for years to come.

Exterior and Interior

First off, this 1969 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Velocity Signature Series sits on a VR Exclusive frame built by Roadster Shop. Then, it gets a 6-point roll cage, and a custom color-matching safari top. Meanwhile, the body has been endowed with a coat of Custom White Glasurit paint. Then, there’s lower belt-line trim, 18-inch MT Bullet wheels and BF Goodrich T/A tires. We’re not done with the exterior, though. You can also find LED headlights, new glass and weather seals, OEM mirrors, chrome components, and power steps to aid cabin entry and exit. The cabin is an airy affair, with a Velocity leather interior consisting of Velocity Signature custom low-back front seats, and a rear bench. There’s a fully carpeted interior, which is amply protected by Velocity custom all-weather floor mats. Then, we’ve got a Velocity Exclusive Dakota Digital gauge cluster, a wood steering wheel and an Ididit tilt steering column. An auto-dimming rear-view mirror and air conditioning by Vintage Air have also been retrofitted. Then, you can settle into a groove with some tunes of choice, thanks to the Focal Audio speaker system and touchscreen head unit. Here, you’ve got Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities as well.

Engine

This 1969 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Velocity Signature Series has a potent Gen V 6.2L GM V8 under the hood, powering the wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission, a Dana 44 front axle, and a Dana 60 rear axle. The engine’s also been endowed with a Velocity serpentine system, performance exhaust and custom headers. A Velicity Exclusive aluminum fuel tank has been added too. Then, braking has been given a boost thanks to Wilwood disc brakes on all four wheels, and Hydraboost power-assisted braking. We’ve also got coilovers by FOX, and front plus rear sway bars to bring the handling up to par with modern machines.

The forerunner to today’s Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon, the K5 Blazer was available between 1969 and 1994, across three generations. It’s built on a shortened C/K-Series half-ton truck platform, and offers a proper, four-wheel drive SUV for those who want to venture off-road at will. That’s why this fine blue second-generation 1986 Chevrolet K5 Blazer is the ideal adventure vehicle. It’s got a low 39,000 miles on the clock, comes with the owner’s manual, and two full sets of keys too.
