Chevy’s C/K Series of pickup trucks debuted for the 1959 model year, as the successor to the Task Force line-up. For the next four decades, four generations would be made, until 2002 when the C/K Series became the Silverado that we know today. Yup, the good old Silverado comes with a fair bit of history behind it. Today’s 1985 Chevrolet C10 Restomod is a third generation example that’s been extensively resto-modded into a true head-turner. Yes, even a workmanlike truck can be made to be stunningly eye-catching and of course, deeply potent in the performance department. Dressed in bright yellow, it’s clear that this 1985 Chevrolet C10 Restomod sets out to stun at the outset. Then, the truck seems to sit lower, with a set of deep dished alloy wheels in silver, draped with low profile tires that are considerably meatier than what it would have had when new. Dual exhausts protrude from the widened rear flanks, and the cargo bed is another beautiful surprise, being decked out in fine varnished wood with body-colored stripes between each plank. The interior of this 1985 Chevrolet C10 Restomod features aftermarket racing-style seats with ample bolstering and a single piece design. However, the seats are upholstered in comfortable tan leather making this truck a great long-distance cruiser too. Powering this 1985 Chevrolet C10 Restomod is an engine far larger than the meatiest one that Chevy offered it with from the factory. While the largest engine available was a 454ci V8, we’re told that a 468ci V8 resides under the hood of this truck.
