Throughout the years, Land Rover made hundreds of enhancements to the Series, including naming it the Defender in late 1990. Produced in several wheelbases, the 90 was the shortest variant available. While most Defender 90s are typically three-door SUVs, this particular 1993 Land Rover Defender 90 is an interesting, two-door single cab pickup truck variant. Bearing 80,000 miles to its name, this vehicle is now up for sale, and makes an excellent off-road runabout.
Painted in a lovely shade of green that harks back to the iconic British Racing Green, this 1993 Land Rover Defender 90 is a purposeful-looking thing. Rolling on black wheels with chunky tires, the first thing to catch your eye will be its two-door pickup truck body style. That’s because you won’t find another pickup truck with a short and squat stance like this one. However, you’ve got decent cargo space in the truck bed, accessed by a flip-down tailgate. The interior of this 1993 Land Rover Defender 90 betrays its British market roots, since the steering wheel is on the wrong side for America.
