If you’ve always had an eye for older luxury cars with great driving dynamics, preferably from Britain, may we present this 1996 Bentley Continental R for your consideration? The Continental R was made between 1991 and 2003, and a mere 1,854 units were produced and sold worldwide. It’s probably one of the rarest cars, as there are plenty of Italian exotics with higher production numbers for example. This particular example is a 50,777-mile, numbers-matching example from Pennsylvania, and it’s a great way to experience what luxury was like before digital screens took over everything.
The timeless design of this 1996 Bentley Continental R is highlighted by a smooth red paint job, and complemented by its aftermarket black alloy wheels. The front sports dual headlamps and an imposing chrome grille, with the Bentley Flying B logo directly above. Moving to the side, the sheer length of this car becomes apparent, even though it’s a two-door coupe. The rear, on the other hand, presents itself in a simplistic vibe, but of course, there’s another ‘Flying B’ here as well. The interior of this 1996 Bentley Continental R is where you want to be, and it’s a cream leather-upholstered affair with plenty of light wood accents. You’ve got features such as power adjustable front seats, a premium sound system, some red trim and red carpeting as well. There’s bi-level climate control as well, and front seat heaters for added comfort during cold weather. The only modern feature that we spot is an Alpine single-DIN head unit with Bluetooth, USB and AUX inputs. Everything else remains period and near-pristine. Even the spacious trunk is in great condition, and can swallow up enough luggage for several days on the road.
The famed "Six And Three Quarter" 6.75L V8 lies under the hood (or bonnet, in British speak) of this 1996 Bentley Continental R. The engine is turbocharged, but in a very laid-back fashion. In 1996, Rolls-Royce started releasing power figures for their cars, and they say that the unit makes 385hp at 4,000rpm and 550lb-ft of torque from 2,000 rpm until 4,000rpm. Power goes to the rear wheels via a GM-sourced 4L80 automatic gearbox. The car also features adaptive ride control suspension. Furthermore, we’re informed that there are new upper and lower ball joints.

Bently offers choices for almost all market needs, including sporty vehicles, luxury vehicles, and SUVs. What we have here is a drop-top with all the luxury that a Bentley is known for. The 2007 Bentley Continental GTC is based on the Continental GT coupe, and it was the only option available with a convertible roof at the time. If you’re a discerning sort who wants an old-school luxury grand tourer with modern conveniences, the Bentley Continental GT is the perfect match. It’s one of the most iconic models from British luxury automaker Bentley and has been around since 2003. Curiously, it’s the first Bentley model to be produced via mass manufacturing techniques, but in true Bentley style, no compromises are ever made. Today’s 2013 Bentley Continental GT V8 comes from the second generation of the nameplate and includes the Mulliner Driving Specification package plus the Touring Package. Now that the Mulsanne no longer exists, it only means that the limousine to go for in Bentley's lineup is this. What we have here is a Bentley Flying Spur. While you can get close to the level of tech and luxury from a Mercedes or a BMW, like the Arnage and the Mulsanne, the 2022 Bentley Flying Spur wins your heart not only to drive from the front seat but also from the rear seat. It has one of the most amusing chassis among luxury cars and earns its name as a proper Bentley. Our subject car is up for sale in Vienna, Virginia, showing just 7,875 miles on its odometer.
A little bit like world boxing heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, it's British, it's a big, heavy brute, and it packs one serious punch. The Bentley Continental GT Speed is a statement of intent from Bentley’s designers. As the automobile industry shifts to electrified powertrains and less polluting engines, Bentley ended the production of its last W12 engine in 2024, which was initially introduced in 2003. That makes this example of the 2024 Bentley Continental GT Speed one of the last surviving Bentleys powered by a W12 engine. This Grand Rapids, Michigan-based stunner has 6500 miles on its clock. Boasting multiple specifications, this GT Speed is ready to arrive at its new owner's home.
Mercedes-Benz created a hit when they launched the CLS-Class range in late 2003. Designed on the E-Class underpinnings, the CLS offered a sportier, four-door coupe body style to buyers who wanted a luxury midsize sedan with sports car looks. The segment has since seen competitors from nearly all the headline German luxury automakers. Today’s 2013 Mercedes-Benz CLS 550 comes from the second generation that ran between 2010 and 2018. It’s a lovely machine for the discerning driver who also wants something relatively practical and family-friendly. Currently residing in Miami, this machine has done over 83,000 miles so far.
There are a handful of automakers that have perfected the art of providing its customers with true luxury. Turn back the clock to the early 2000s and if true luxury was what you were on the quest for Maybach had got you covered. Present today is one of Maybach's finest and takes shape with this lovely 2009 Maybach 62. With a reported 64,000 miles on the clock, this luxury cruiser makes for an experience thats best enjoyed away from the steering wheel and into the back seat where you can kick back in luxury and class like no other.
