Since its introduction in 1963, the Corvette has been a masterclass in having all the right features of a stupendously fast two-door car. It has since taken the crown as the king of American sports cars. The Corvette remains an absolute icon to this day and has been produced for more than 60 years across eight generations. The seventh-generation Vette, also known as the C7, debuted in 2014, and was the first model to inherit the 'Stingray' name since its older cousin from 1976. The C7 gained immediate recognition for its elegant beauty and aggressive performance, so much so that Automobile Magazine crowed it 'Automobile of The Year 2014'. In terms of exterior design, the C7 was given a complete makeover and looks much sharper and more refined than its predecessor. The seventh-gen Vette came with a beastly 6.2L naturally aspirated Small Block V8 connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission controlled via paddle shifters to produce up to 455 horses and 620 N.m of bone-crushing torque.
Look what we’ve got here! The last of the pop-up headlamp ‘Vettes, the fifth generation or C5 variant.
