Tesla's immense success with its all-electric vehicles proved to the world and manufacturers that EVs are the way to go. Lucid Motors is one of Tesla's direct competitors to gain traction quickly. Founded in 2007 as Atieva by ex-Tesla VP, and an Oracle executive, they rebranded as Lucid Motors in 2016 and announced their intention to enter the EV with their offering. Lucid's magnum opus to date is the Lucid Air, a fully electric executive-style four-door sedan, which was offered in 5 variants in 2021. Join the EV club with this 2023 Lucid Air Touring with a host of factory options and an almost new mileage of 300 miles.

Lucid has offered the 2023 Lucid Air Touring a choice of 5 exterior palettes, two standard, and three premium color options. This car sports a premium finish called Quantum Grey. The Air is given the option to have a dual-tone finish, specifically for the roof and pillars, hence the Platinum finish on top. A set of 21' Aero Blade machine-faced wheels with a black inlay grace it. The interior is appointed in a theme called Mojave which features a Lucid Black and Graphite finish with full-grain Nappa leather and premium natural-grain leather for the front and rear seats. Carbon Oak trim can be seen on the dash, center console, and door inserts. The front seats also feature 14-way power functions with ventilation and heating. Stainless steel door sill inserts with etched Lucid logo are in place. Lucid's in-house developed Driver Assistance System called Dreamdrive is available, although this Air is equipped with the upgraded Dremdrive Pro, which adds future-ready hardware for semi-autonomous driving, surround view monitoring with blind-spot display, and highway assist. The glass canopy adds a sunroof which lets in plenty of light inside the cabin. The car comes with Surreal Sound Pro, dubbed as the "world's first automotive integration of Dolby Atmos," for a premium sound experience.

Powering the 2023 Lucid Air Touring are dual motors with all-wheel driving. Power output is quoted at 620hp, along with a massive 738 lb.ft of torque. The Lucid Air Touring has a maximum range of 425 miles. 0-60 mph is clocked in at 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph, which is electronically limited. Say what you will about Tesla, but you can’t deny that they’ve massively contributed towards the shake-up in the entire automotive industry across the world. We’re sure that many mainstream automakers were jolted into producing EVs after Tesla boldly strode onto the stage and stole the limelight. With their current five-model line-up (that’s S,3,X,Y and Cybertruck), this prolific if sometimes larger-than-life American automaker is definitely worthy of consideration. This particular example of theirs is a 2021 Tesla Model Y Long Range, which is a compact luxury electric crossover. The Model Y was introduced for the 2021 model year, and it sold over 410,000 units worldwide that year itself! This particular example comes from St. George, Utah, and is a dual-motor, long-range variant. It’s traveled over 102,000 miles but is in excellent shape.
