The original Camaro was GM’s answer to Ford’s runaway sales hit, the Mustang. Despite only being in production for a few years, Chevrolet’s original Camaro has become a fan favorite. It also features a stainless-steel exhaust system, 12 bolt posi-traction rear end, and a 3:31 gear connected to a Muncie 4-speed transmission. With a few of these tasteful mods, it's clear that this Camaro's V8 is not only slightly hotter than before, but it will in theory be more reliable thanks to the fuel-injection conversion. And, to haul all this to a stop are front and rear disc brakes.
