The first generation Mustang sold like the proverbial hot cakes, with three body styles and over two million examples produced. Well over two million in fact. That’s why this 1966 Ford Mustang Hardtop is worthy of consideration, because it’s a little different from the rest. Exterior and Interior
This 1966 Ford Mustang Hardtop was reportedly repainted in Crème with a bright blue racing stripe to inject some of that sportiness into this sprightly pony. There’s a 302ci V8 under the hood of this 1966 Ford Mustang Hardtop, that’s reportedly from a 1989 Mustang – the Fox Body era. The engine is fuel injected and paired with an aftermarket 5-speed manual transmission. As expected, rear-wheel drive is the order of the day.
