Overview of 1967 Chevrolet Corvette For Sale by Owner

A second-generation or C2 Chevy Corvette is quite a fine American classic to add to your life. The second generation saw a relatively short four-year production run, but was responsible for features such as the Sting Ray badge, the boat-tailed styling and the pop-up headlamps. Hence, we’re sure that this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray won’t have any trouble finding a new owner. Coming from Fort Mohave, Arizona, this car has traveled over 77,000 miles so far, showcasing how lovely it is to drive.

Exterior and Interior

Adorned in a beautiful coat of black paint that’s reportedly a repaint, the design genius of Larry Shinoda really shines through on this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray. The car’s sleek stance, pop-up headlamps and dainty chromed bumpers all make for something truly amazing as it glides along. The car has received a set of American Racing Torq Thrust D wheels which are a great choice for Sixties Corvettes, and they’re wrapped with a set of equally suitable Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. Then, as the car’s headlamps are activated, a quartet of circular units emerges, two per pop-up cluster. It’s got to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. The passenger accommodations of this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray come in a lovely shade of green, especially the two seats. The car’s interior showcases the simplicity that older cars have, with none of today’s touchscreens and digital displays to spoil the ambiance. Instead, you have a proper suite of analog dials, an aftermarket thin-rimmed steering wheel, a physical, mechanical gear shifter and three pedals. Furthermore, you’ll no doubt have noticed the quirky vertically-mounted radio which was a C2 specialty. Behind the two seats lies the cargo compartment, but you’ll need to access it from via the cabin since there’s no trunk lid. Yes, this is another little C2 quirk, but it ensures a sleek, uninterrupted rear profile, with no pesky shut lines to ruin it.

Engine

Powering this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray is a 327ci L75 V8. This naturally aspirated unit uses a Rochester Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor, and features an aftermarket chrome air cleaner plus an aluminum intake manifold. It’s also endowed with chrome valve covers, Red Performance spark plug wires, a refreshed alternator with polished brackets, and a high-flow radiator hose and clamps. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie 4-speed manual gearbox.
