Overview of 2005 Aston Martin DB9 For Sale by Owner

Greetings, Mr. Bond. May we present you with your 2005 Aston Martin DB9 as your conveyance? Yes, we’ve got an Aston right here, in all its Titanium glory and packing that iconic 5.9-liter V12 under the hood. Produced between 2004 and 2016, the DB9 may not have had as much screen time as some other Astons, but it’s a fine machine, nevertheless. This 25,400-mile example from Darnestown, Maryland comes with black leather on the inside, 19-inch 10-spoke chromed wheels on the outside, and even a Car King custom-made DB9 cover to keep it safe when parked.

Exterior and Interior

There’s nothing like an early 2000s Aston Martin. That was the time when much of Aston Martin’s new design direction was conceived, and some of those cues continue to this day. Just look at this glorious 2005 Aston Martin DB9 in its suave Titanium suit. Doesn’t it look smart? That wide, gaping grille, 19-inch 10-spoke chromed alloy wheels and the overall shape of the car that screams aero efficiency. Even the headlamps feature multiple lenses but are faired in with a single smooth cover for that sleek look. The rear continues on a similar note, with twin-element taillamps and twin exhaust pipes for the V12 to exhale through. The interior of this 2005 Aston Martin DB9 features black leather upholstered seating and wood trim. The car is a two plus two, and comes with some pretty neat amenities. There’s a retractable navigation screen too, which can be stowed to avoid disturbing the smooth lines of the dashboard when not in use. The gauge cluster is analog, with the speedometer and tachometer sweeping in opposite directions. There’s air conditioning, a nice speaker system and even power adjustment for the front seats.

Engine

This 2005 Aston Martin DB9 comes with the famous 5.9-liter V12 that defines much of Aston Martin’s cars from the mid-1990s up to relatively recently. The naturally aspirated unit is known for its signature howl. Here, it makes a reported 450hp and 420lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed ZF automatic gearbox and a limited-slip differential.
