Muscle cars have been an American staple since the 1960s, and they're known for looking good, sounding good, and going fast for a relatively affordable package. This 2009 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR (with less than 2,000 Miles!) perfectly depicts how muscle cars have progressed and adapted to the modern world. With the world moving away from special cars like this in favor of electric SUVs that look like cheese graters compared to something like this, it is only a matter of time before this car becomes a true classic.
Exterior and Interior
In true muscle car fashion, the interior is simplistic, with no frills, and straight to the point. The Shelby Automobiles plaque in between the HVAC vents indicates that this is no ordinary Mustang. The black leather seats will make those long Canon Ball runs much more comfortable, and with the recently fitted aftermarket head unit with Apple Carplay, navigating has never been easier. Not to mention the classic white shifter ball attached to the short throw shifter for those incredibly satisfying shifts. Being one of just 110 examples produced in Colorado Red, this Mustang is quite the head-turner. The white race stripe runs the entire length of the car and the Shelby SVT wheels only enhance its muscular look even more. Engine
A true muscle car deserves a proper engine and this Mustang more than delivers. A jaw-dropping 5.4 liter V8 engine equipped with a supercharger of course. The owner tells us that this particular example produces up to 40 hp more than the standard GT500. What is a muscle car without some bragging rights? And it will stop just as quickly as it accelerates thanks to some powerful Brembo brake discs.
