If you’re looking for something away from the standard German luxury saloons, then the Jaguar XJ from Great Britain is a prime example of a great alternative to the norm. The XJ series is Jaguar’s line of full-size luxury cars and has been in production since 1968. In 1970 it became Jaguar's flagship model and was the last model to receive input from Jaguar’s founder, Sir William Lyons. The fourth-generation Jaguar XJ was produced from 2010 to 2019, with elegant styling and a special focus towards creating a balance between a dynamic ride, and sublime comfort. It was available in two configurations: a standard wheelbase version (XJ), measuring 202 inches in length, and a long-wheelbase variant (XJL), measuring 207 inches. Up for grabs is a 2013 Jaguar XJL Portfolio with all-wheel drive and just 24,100 miles on the clock.
A car that exudes luxury, this Jaguar XJL is finished in a luxurious Caviar Metallic color scheme which has a layer of ceramic coating applied to lock in the shine and protect the paint from the elements. This Jaguar XJL Portfolio comes with the not-so-traditional taillights for a Jaguar in the form of upright, swooping taillights called J-Blades. It sits on a set of double 5-spoke Kasuga 20” alloy wheels with the Jaguar logo on the hubcaps. The interior features luxury and comfort mixed eloquently in the form of Ivory with soft-grain leather seating surfaces for the interior, while a panoramic dual-pane moonroof dominates the top which is referred to as bridges on a yacht by the designers. The dashboard is an all-LCD affair, which was much less common than now. The touchscreen display controls the entertainment and the output to the premium Bowers & Wilkins 1,200W 20-speaker Dolby 7.1 surround-sound system. Lane-departure warnings, navigation, quad-zone climate control, and power sunshades are standard on the XJL. The multi-function steering wheel is finished in a combination of wrapped leather and wood, and rear-seat passengers have access to a fold-down laptop tray
A flagship car needs an engine that lives up to that which the 3.0L V6 turbocharged engine fully does. Coupled with the 6-speed automatic transmission it can push out 340hp of power along with 330 lb.ft of torque. 0-60 mph is clocked in at 5.9 seconds with a limited top speed of 155 mph. This Jaguar XJL Portfolio comes with AWD and is reportedly fitted with new tires. It has been serviced by Jaguar and has recently completed the 25,000 miles service in advance as well.
The Jaguar XJ is a full-size luxury car that was first introduced in 1968. It was the last model line to be created under the leadership of Jaguar’s founder, Sir William Lyons. The XJ was designed to offer traditional British luxury appointments and maintained its largely similar styling for many generations. However, in 2010, Jaguar introduced the X351 generation, which was a rapid departure from tradition. It took the motoring world by storm and was offered for nine years. Up for sale today is a 2019 Jaguar XJ R Sport for those who dare to be different. The car bears just 10,700 miles and comes with all maintenance reportedly up to date.
“That’s the best Jag, probably, ever made” – Jeremy Clarkson on the X308 XJ. He was talking about the XJR there, but it’s a sentiment that can be applied to the entire X308 lineup. The Vanden Plas was the top-of-the-range model sold in the US (equivalent to the Daimler that was made for other markets). They came with softer suspension, all the luxury features and options, and Vanden Plas trim and badging. The X308 often tends to get confused with the X300, which is quite understandable. The visual differences are minimal, with the major changes being the new dashboard, bumpers, and engine options.
The Jaguar XJ is one of the last vehicles to have received design input from Jaguar Cars founder Sir William Lyons. Hitting the market in 1968, the XJ is synonymous with largely retaining its classic design cues well into the 2000s and beyond. New generations would emerge, but the exterior styling would be a freshening-up rather than a new revolution. Well, until the last X351 generation of 2010, that is. Purists loved the Jaguar XJ because they believed it to be the last bastion of proper British luxury cars. If you're among this demographic, this 2000 Jaguar XJ8 up for sale will surely warm your heart. The car has done 132,500 miles, which tells you that it's been enjoyed, but in true Jaguar fashion, it's still got so much more to give. The current owner reports that the car has undergone some mechanical work to keep it running at its peak.
The successor of Jaguar’s iconic XJS grand tourer, the XK was introduced in 1996. It ran until 2014, across two generations, before the F-Type took over. The XK also spawned a high-performance, supercharged variant called the XKR. With Jaguar’s recent rebranding and new direction causing quite a bit of controversy, why not celebrate what the brand used to be, rather than taking up arms at what it might be? This 2005 Jaguar XKR Roadster is a great way to celebrate, with its drop-top and supercharged V8 waiting for you to enjoy. The car packs just 118,064 miles, and has been recently serviced too.
Taking over from the iconic XJS, the Jaguar XK was introduced in 1996, and ran until 2015, across two generations. It was a fine boulevard cruiser, but Jaguar gave it some serious pace with the supercharged XJR variant. When the second generation debuted for the 2006 model year, the XKR gained more pep, and crossed the magical 500-horsepower mark. This particular 2015 Jaguar XKR Roadster Final Fifty Edition is special, because it’s a Final Fifty Edition. This was a limited-production run of just fifty cars, all sold in the United States. The Final Fifty marked the end of XK production, before the F-Type took over the torch. Only 25 of these Final Fifty editions were roadsters, and this 10,176 mile car is thus a very rare species. Grab it while you can!

Taking on the muscle car title requires a car that can push out some serious performance and stand out like a sore thumb. Present today is not American muscle but British muscle that takes shape with this 2010 Jaguar XKR Convertible. This British muscle car is not just a performance powerhouse but also makes for an ideal grand tourer to gulp down the miles in performance and luxury, whichever you prefer.
