When Audi introduced their flagship sports car as the R8 in 2006, saying the car was a success is an understatement. It was referred to as a cheaper Lamborghini Gallardo with all the bells and whistles, and some might say even better handling and more features than the Gallardo. Its success propelled the R8 to the second generation which is currently available for sale. The first generation Audi R8 was produced from 2007 to 2015 and included many variants to choose from.
