Making its debut in February 2020, The Corvette C8 had a lot to live up to, especially as it was the very first mid-engine Vette since the model was introduced in 1953. Visibly, you can tell that Chevy didn't try by any means for the C8 to look anything like its predecessors, this one was meant to be special, and for that, it had to look and play the part. This specific example is a 2020 Chevrolet Corvette 1LT Coupe Z51, introduced just three months after the unveiling of the original C8. The car is currently housed in Illinois with just 2,800 miles on the road and has been decked with an array of factory options to go with it.

Chevy meant for this Vette to be unlike no other of its kind, and so the car received all the tricks in the bag, including an all-aluminum architecture and coil overs instead of leaf springs as seen on other Corvettes. This resulted in a lightweight and nimble vehicle that was combined with a design that is an aerodynamic masterpiece. The car in topic is suited in a Torch Red exterior paint with carbon flash exterior accents, including the carbon flash badge package. The C8 also, has a body-color removable roof panel, a performance exhaust with bright tip exposed quad exhaust tips, and a couple of Z51 package extras, such as the Z51 exclusive rear wing, Z51 performance brakes, and bright red-painted brake calipers with the Z51 logo engraved on it. As for shoes, the Vette wears a set of carbon flash painted aluminum wheels, 19's upfront and 20's for the rear. Welcoming you into the control center of this weapon is an adrenaline red and black interior with the 1LT equipment group, black seatbelts, GT1 bucket seats with an 8-way power driver seat. Technologically, the car inherits a Performance Data Recorder (PDR), rear park assist, Magnetic ride control, HD rear vision camera, and a Bose premium audio system.

Powering the eighth-generation Corvette is a 6.2 L LT2 cross-plane OHV V8 combined with a Tremec TR-9080 DCT 8-speed dual-clutch transmission sending the car from a standstill to 60mph in 3 seconds flat before topping out at 194mph.

Chevy’s C8 or eighth-generation Corvette debuted in 2020 with a new mid-engined design, supercar-inspired looks and a new level of performance, overall. The new LT2 small-block V8 makes 490hp and 465lb-ft in stock form, which is a mild increase over the C7 on paper, but translates to vastly improved acceleration and drivability as a result of tuning and the new 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox which the C8 comes with. But what if you want to make that naturally aspirated unit into a forced induction beast? Well, you get something like this 570-horsepower 2022 Chevrolet Corvette 1LT. Tuned by Elited South Tuning and fitted with a Huron twin-turbo kit, this rear-wheel drive beast could be yours. It’s up for grabs in Greer, South Carolina with under 5,000 miles on the clock. The original window sticker, two keys and owner’s manual are included with the sale as well.

The first generation of Chevy’s popular Corvette sports car and grand tourer was revealed to the public in 1953. Called the C1, it ran until 1962, and sold just over 69,000 units.
