Present in the Mercedes lineup since 1953, the E-Class is categorized as a mid-range vehicle and is the second most technologically advanced option after the executive flagship, the S-Class. Pricing placement of the E-Class, along with the many options that came with it, made it the best-selling Benz of all time. The fifth-generation W213 E-Class was released in 2016. However, in typical Benz fashion, there had to be a version that was designed for the bold and daring, and that is the E63 AMG. This 2021 Mercedes-Benz E63S AMG 4MATIC RENNtech is designed to burn rubber and carve up tracks. Up for sale in South Carolina, this example has an extensive list of upgrades and just 2,100 miles on the clock.

Obsidian Black, that’s what Mercedes calls the beautiful paint that is cloaked around this 2021 Mercedes-Benz E63S AMG 4MATIC RENNtech sedan. The entire vehicle has been ceramic coated to protect its paint job. Except for the badging and the chrome bar in the rear, the car is completed blacked out thanks to a dark tinted grille, a blacked-out set of 20” forged cross-spoke wheels, and of course, the AMG Carbon Fiber Package II. The nose of the car also has a Lumar PPF film installed, but the majority of the car's exterior remains completely stock. Inside this car is where you start to see some impressive factory options. The Black Exclusive NAPPA interior sports the AMG night package, inclusive of black leather seats and carbon-fiber trim, a NAPPA leather coated AMG performance steering wheel, the air balance package with cabin air fragrancing, black seatbelts, a black cloth headliner, a head-up display, and driver assistance package with active safety features. Of course, you get the beautiful Panorama sunroof, soft closing doors with LED crest logo protectors, dashcam, augmented video for navigation, and two USB-C ports in the rear.

While the cosmetic and comfort upgrades are nice, it doesn’t take away from the fact that this is a purely performance-oriented machine, and that’s apparent, because under the hood of this Mercedes- Benz E63S 4MATIC RENNtech sedan sits a vicious 4.0L Biturbo 4MATIC V8 engine coupled with a RENNtech ECU to produce a slightly barbaric 773hp and 778n.m of torque, and an AWE Tuning performance cat-back exhaust to hear it roar in all its glory.
