Meanwhile, there’s a custom chrome and wood bed out back, protected from the elements by a hard cover. This isn’t a work truck anymore. The red interior of this 1965 Chevrolet C10 features red leather seats, red carpeting, and a new dashboard with modern gauges communicating all salient aspects of the truck’s health and performance to the driver. There’s also a new ignition switch, an air conditioning system, and even a modern-era Sony head unit with CD player and AUX input so that you can enjoy modern music. Under the hood of this 1965 Chevrolet C10 lies a 350ci V8 that’s been chromed, we’re told. This means that the engine bay gleams, thanks to the chrome air cleaner and valve covers. The engine is said to be a new unit, and mated to a rebuilt automatic transmission and powering the rear wheels. As we’ve mentioned both engine and transmission have just a couple of thousand miles on them.
