



Chevrolet is known for making consumer-grade cars for the masses, and it all started in the early 1900s. But in 1953, General Motors produced a two-door, two-seater, and lightweight sports car to be marketed under the name Corvette. It was the first of its kind in the American market and became widely popular among car enthusiasts. The third-generation Corvette, also known as the C3, was introduced in 1967 and went on to be produced for another 14 years. With its iconic styling and thrilling performance, it was the car of choice for the astronauts astride the Apollo 12. The C3 was born in the era of the space race and was heavily inspired by spacecraft, with the low swooping front end and pop-up lights flowing smoothly to wide fenders housing large tires to give superb handling. This example is finished in a beautiful red paint job accented by subtle chrome trim and new foam moldings. The car sits pretty with a low stance from the factory and wire wheels wrapped in fresh new tires. Behind these gorgeous polished wheels are new brakes to provide errorless stopping power, along with a recent wheel alignment to keep the car planted.
