A car that any enthusiast will gladly accept if given the chance to own, the Nissan Skyline GT-R is a Japanese hero of the performance car scene. The first GT-R came about with the KPCG10 of 1969, and continued well until the R34 bowed out in 2002. Today’s 1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R comes from the R32 era of 1989 to 1994. In a global scenario, it’s not a rare car by any means – over 43,000 were made, but very few made it to the United States. So, this Covina-based example is definitely a fine catch with under 30,000 miles on the clock and a host of aftermarket modifications.
Exterior and Interior
Gunmetal Gray is one of the most iconic colors for the R32, which is what this 1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R comes wearing. The car’s two-door coupe body style is enhanced by its Volk Racing TE37 wheels which look good on many cars. There’s an aftermarket front bmper, aftermarket side skirts and rear spats, and a carbon-fiber hood with aero latches. The gray interior of this 1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R features a Recaro driver’s seat and a rear seat delete for some weight savings. Yes, this car is performance oriented, but there’s an aftermarket stereo head unit for some music, amidst the plethora of aftermarket gauges, including a CAN gauge which displays AFTR, RPM, boost and temperatures, plus a Haltech 3-port boost controller kit. Oh, and there’s a roll cage installed as well, in case you still didn’t get the memo about this car being a race-ready build.
Engine
The famous RB26DETT turbocharged 2.6-liter straight six lies beneath the hood of this 1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R. But it’s been bolstered by an aftermarket High Five turbo kit with Garrett Gen 2 62mm turbo, a 46mm wastegate, a stainless steel downpipe, aluminum intercooler piping, and some fuel system upgrades from Radium. There’s a Link GT-R ECU to control it all, as well as a catless test pipe, flex fuel kit for the RB26, Tomei Pon cams and valve shims, 1,200cc DW low-impedance injectors, a Walbro fuel pump, and more. A 5-speed manual gearbox sends power to all four wheels. We’re told that the car’s HICAS system has been removed by way of a delete kit. Another neat upgrade is a set of R34 Brembo brakes.
The Nissan Skyline GT-R returned in spectacular fashion for 1989, ending a 16-year hiatus and ushering in one of the most celebrated performance cars Japan has ever produced. Nicknamed “Godzilla” by the Australian automotive press after its dominant motorsport performances, the R32 GT-R rewrote the rulebook with its sophisticated all-wheel-drive system, twin-turbocharged RB26DETT engine, and advanced chassis technology. This example shows just 51,040 miles and is finished in desirable Gun Grey Metallic, combining an iconic factory color with tasteful upgrades that enhance its already legendary performance pedigree.
The R34-generation Nissan Skyline GT-R is widely regarded as one of the most iconic Japanese performance cars ever built, earning legendary status through its motorsport pedigree, advanced all-wheel-drive system, and highly tunable RB26DETT engine. Produced from 1999 through 2002, the R34 refined the GT-R formula with sharper styling, improved chassis dynamics, and sophisticated driver-focused technology. This 2000 Nissan Skyline GT-R has been tastefully enhanced with carefully selected performance upgrades, including HKS coilovers, a Kakimoto exhaust system, and Recaro sport seats, making it an appealing example for enthusiasts seeking a well-sorted modern JDM icon.
The R33-generation Nissan Skyline GT-R has steadily evolved from an enthusiast favorite into one of the most sought-after Japanese performance cars in the world. Revered for its balance, high-speed composure, and advanced ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system, the BCNR33 occupies a unique position in GT-R history and continues to gain recognition among collectors. This 1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R shows just 876 miles and has been comprehensively built with a singular goal: creating a brutally fast yet reliable street-driven machine while preserving the timeless OEM+ styling that made the R33 legendary. Featuring a fully built RB26DETT, premium Haltech electronics, Ohlins suspension, and carefully selected NISMO and 400R-inspired exterior enhancements, this GT-R represents a tremendous investment in performance, engineering, and craftsmanship. Finding an R33 built to this level without shortcuts has become increasingly difficult, making this a compelling opportunity for the enthusiast seeking one of the nastiest street-driven Skylines around.
