Little did they know that this would soon become a hit across the world, and a cult icon. The Land Rover soon became the Land Rover Series, as consecutive years would see it upgraded and enhanced in myriad ways, while retaining much of its iconic design and basic purpose. In 1990, Land Rover renamed the model the Defender, in keeping with its new naming conventions. Available in multiple wheelbases, the 110 is the most popular, thanks to its five-door body and approximately 110-inch wheelbase. Yes, there’s a new Defender now, but it goes without saying that a classic Defender is one of the best ways to explorer the great outdoors. This 1995 Land Rover Defender has been repainted in Bonatti Gray Metallic, giving it a beautiful sheen that highlights its timeless lines. This is further augmented by the vehicle’s metal Puma-style hood, NAS-style rear bumper, side steps, and checkerplate trim. You’ve also got a Masai 4x4 spare wheel carrier, and 16-inch Sawtooth rims. A Mantec snorkel is present too. The interior of this 1995 Land Rover Defender features black leather upholstery, and a Masai 4x4 Alcantara roof lining. The front and rear bucket seats are Exmoor heated units. There are also inward-facing bench seats in the luggage area for when you need to carry more than five people. This 1995 Land Rover Defender uses the tried and tested 300Tdi powertrain, which comprises a turbocharged 2.5-liter diesel engine. This 2023 Defender 100 S Trek Edition is quite special, as the owner tells us that it's number 80 out of only 100 units built that exist in North America.
