While AM General has countless cars to back up its contribution to the automotive industry, nothing speaks volumes like their military-oriented Humvees and subsequently the Hummers. With the success of the Humvee and its popularization in movies, books, and other media, the public took interest in it, AM General responded to that demand by building the Hummer H1 in 1992. The Hummer H1 was produced until 2004, and 2006, when it was then succeeded by the Hummer H2. If you’re a fan of 2000s hip-hop music, then this 1998 Hummer H1 Predator ought to be in your garage, as it comes with just 47,000 miles on the clock.

This beast of a Hummer H1 Predator rolled off the assembly line in 1998 painted in black. Currently, it sports a Gun Metal Gray Kevlar paint job. The Hummer features an H1 front bumper with a Warn winch while a light bar sits right in the middle. Protecting the front is a heavy-duty brush guard powder coated in black. It features a main billet locking fuel door. Predator H1 step rock rails are painted in black. The rear features a Search & Rescue 10” roof rack with aluminum slats, a Search & Rescue rear winch bumper, and a ladder system with a 12k Warn winch kit. The roof has been replaced with an aftermarket custom unit. Rigid Industries scene lights are installed around the car, along with a Rigid Industries 6” Pro Driving diffuser. The standard lights on the Hummer have been upgraded to LEDs. The Hummer rests easily on a set of 20” Simulated Beadlock wheels. The interior has been reportedly restored to a black magic leather and elongated diamond stitch pattern in red, with the diamond stitch continuing onto the lower door panels. New gauges have been installed and a MOMO Trek-R steering wheel replaces the stock steering wheel. A premium audio experience is courtesy of a JL Audio speaker system mated to a Kenwood head unit.

The Hummer H1 came with a choice of five engine options and three transmission options. The seller reports that this 1998 Hummer H1 Predator is equipped with a 6.5L V8 mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. All-terrain access is provided by a set of 20” TOYO mud tires. The seller reports that the braking system is new and refreshed as is the suspension system. The Hummer H1’s powerplant is rated at 195hp of power and 430 lb-ft of torque. It can tow up to 8,296 lbs.

Ah yes, the Daddy Hummer, the one that started it all way back in 1992. The H1 was the first civilian Hummer, and as you’d expect, it didn’t vary that much from the military Humvee from which it was adapted. Today’s 2003 Hummer H1 Sport Utility Truck is quite desirable, though, because it’s been through a 90% ground-up restoration! With Black Diamond paint, a rust-treated and painted undercarriage, a new top and two keys, this is the perfect H1 for Hummer aficianados to get their hands on, or for anyone who’d love a good old Red-Blooded American Sport Utility Vehicle…sorry…Truck, as this is the Sport Utility Truck variant. It’s available in Miami with around 74,000 miles on the clock.

Aha, the Daddy Hummer arrives in our inventory. This 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha Wagon is from the very last year of production, and it’s a behemoth, to say the least. The H1 was introduced way back in 1992, when AM General created a civilian variant of their popular Military Humvee. Hence, the H1 is as close to the battlefield bruiser as you can get. Later models like the H2 and H3 were smoothened and had their hair combed, but the H1 is as hardcore as you can get without joining the Military. This particular example packs a potent 6.6-liter V8 to drive all four wheels, and has done only 3,300 miles. If you’re tempted, it’s up for grabs in El Paso, Texas.

In 1992, AM General, makers of the military Humvee decided to somewhat adapt this battlefield bruiser into an urban cruiser. So, they took much of its military looks and hardware, did some interior refining, and sold it as the H1. This decision also took into consideration a request by Arnold Schwarzenegger, as to whether AM General could create a civilian variant of the Humvee for folks like him who want the ultimate off-roader. As a result, an H1 has nearly the same degree of off-road ability as a Humvee. In 2002, a 10th Anniversary edition was created, and that’s what we have on offer here. This particular 2002 Hummer H1 10th Anniversary Edition comes with nearly 100,000 miles on the clock and hails from Temecula, California. If you’ve always lusted after an H1 and can scratch that itch now, this is a great example to do it with.
