The Chevrolet Corvette plays a starring role in American automotive history. The Corvette marque has been in production since 1952, through eight generations whilst serving as a halo for the other lineups and brands sold through General Motors. Over the years, Corvettes have played a big part in pop culture and history, and have since been considered collectible and desirable automobiles. With its iconic looks and performance to match, the Corvette was a top seller. Chevrolet used the front-engine rear-wheel-drive layout for seven generations, changing it with the eighth generation C8. Released in April 2019 at the Kennedy space center to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission, it came in two body styles, a 2-door Targa top or a retractable hardtop convertible. The mid-engined layout was a radical departure from previous generations. This example is a 2021 Chevrolet Corvette Z51 hard top convertible with just 200 miles run from new. The car is located in Florida and has been well spec’d by the previous owner, featuring some neat factory options.

The car sports a clean white exterior with a blue and black interior and is also equipped with the 3LT interior package which gives the driver an upgraded touchscreen and performance data recorder, as well as soft Nappa leather seats. To compliment the rare options the car is also equipped with carbon fiber trim. The exterior of the car is also further complimented with an aerodynamic front splitter and rear spoiler as part of the Z51 performance package.

The C8 generation features a 6.2L V8 engine situated in the middle of the car, coupled to an 8-speed dual-clutch Tremec automatic gearbox with steering-mounted paddle shifters. The headline power output of the engine is 490bhp, with 465lb-ft of torque. The engine features dry-sump lubrication and cylinder deactivation for improved fuel economy when cruising. The Z51 performance package includes a heavy-duty engine cooling system, performance suspension, Brembo brakes, performance exhaust and electronic limited-slip differential.

This 1974 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe, in all its orange glory, comes from an era of resilience. The C3 or third-gen ‘Vette is the longest-running of them all, with a fourteen-year production run between 1968 and 1982. Cars like this one are historically significant because they weathered the most dreaded time in American auto history; the Malaise Era. Even during those times, the Corvette was still the fastest American car available. Now, you can see why, when you take a closer look at this 24,000-mile machine from Island Lake, Illinois. It’s a survivor, a stunning looker, and above all, never compromised on engines by always having a V8 beneath the hood. So why not buy this beautiful boulevard cruiser and stick it to today’s soulless EVs?

Chevy’s El Camino is the result of what happens when a sports coupe and a pickup truck have a one-night stand. What you see here in this Emerald Green 1983 Chevrolet El Camino Restomod is the results of five generations of this quirky pairing, that began in 1959, when Chevy’s engineers decided to combine the unibody construction and two-door passenger cabin of a sports coupe with the utility of a pickup truck – hence the name of the segment, Coupe Utility. Today’s Coupe Utility comes from Ardmore, Oklahoma and is quite extensively resto-modded. It’s got a potent 383 Stroker under the hood paired with an automatic gearbox, a refreshed interior, some catchy wheels plus more.
