The fifth generation of the Chevy Corvette will forever go down in history as the last hurrah to the pop-up headlamp. By the time this 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 left the Bowling Green factory gates, it was one of a handful of cars in the world that came with this much-loved feature. This car is something of a unicorn, as it's got just 11,000 miles on its wheels since new. Furthermore, it's a completely original example in a rare color to boot. Electron Blue is the name of the shade that cloaks this 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, and we've got to agree; we haven't seen many 'Vettes sporting this lovely blue hue. A set of silver-gray double-five-spoke alloy wheels only add to its allure, wearing the requisite high-performance tires. You'll also note that this car is a hardtop variant, which is the only body style that was offered for the Z06 pinnacle performance variant. Another Z06 special is the brake duct observed just ahead of the rear wheels, and it's functional. The brake calipers are picked out in red for some brightness. Inside, you'll find a well-appointed cabin for two occupants in a straight shade of black. Red Z06 emblems are stitched into the headrests of each seat to remind you that this isn't a regular C5 'Vette. Remember that the Corvette represented the cutting-edge technology at the time and offered as many creature comforts as possible. This continues even with the current C8 generation.
