Dodge has a reputation for creating some iconic yet unexpected performance cars, and the 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT4 is a prime example. Following on from the success the brand had with the Neon SRT4, the Caliber takes a similar approach: take a fairly unassuming family car and add lots of power. To do so, Dodge added a turbocharger and completely reworked the engine internals of the standard Caliber while retaining the same capacity of 2.4 liters. This particular example is reported to have a genuine mileage of 30,000 on the odometer and is reported to have been kept completely stock throughout that time.

Finished in metallic red, this 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT4 features the aggressive styling enhancements applied to it at the factory. These include a deeper front bumper, a large rear spoiler, side skirts, a rear diffuser-like bumper, and a sizeable four-inch exhaust. This Caliber STRT4 sits on 20-inch chrome alloy wheels wrapped in Falken rubber. Inside the Caliber, you’ll find a practical and spacious interior. However, the SRT4 also adds a touch of sportiness to the insides, with red-stitched bucket seats, SRT4 embroidery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, white-faced gauges, and aluminum pedals. This car is also equipped with a retractable moonroof, power windows, power mirrors, cruise control, and an aftermarket double-din head unit complete with reverse camera. Sitting to the left of the main three-binnacle meter cluster is a factory-fitted boost gauge from Auto Meter.

The engine sitting up front in the 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT4 is a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder. To handle the added boost, Dodge added cast aluminum pistons, forged con rods, and an oil cooler. The Caliber SRT4 was quoted when new as producing 285 hp with 265 lb-ft of torque — figures that are still respectable today. That power was sent to the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. The SRT4 also featured larger brakes and lowered suspension to keep up with the added power.

Now here’s a vehicle you don’t see in our listings very often. The Dodge Caliber. This compact car was made by Chrysler Corporation’s sub-brand Dodge between 2006 and 2011. It’s a five-door hatchback, and was pretty well received, especially in its initial years. For example, in 2008, the year from which this 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT4 hails, over 84,000 found homes in the United States alone. This particular vehicle is available in Augusta, Georgia, and makes for a great first car. It’s got under 33,000 miles on it and a spunky turbo four under the hood. You’ve got a 6-speed manual transmission at your disposal, sending around 285hp to the front wheels. Hot hatchback, anyone?

The Dodge Stealth is a rather interesting 90s sports car. Based heavily on the Mitsubishi 3000GT, it’s a bit more than a badge engineering exercise. In fact, the differences between a 3000GT and a Stealth are rather more than just swapping emblems. Find out what they are with this 31,450-mile 1992 Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo from Marquette, Michigan. It’s got a beautiful Mystic Ble Metallic exterior, a four-seat black interior, and the potent twin-turbo V6 that gave the car 300 horsepower to move with. Furthermore, the Turbo variant is all-wheel drive! There are some other niceties as well, and this car comes with two sets of wheels included in the sale.

Ah, those crazy Americans. Only they’d stick a 383 into a compact car way back in the Sixties! That’s what this 1968 Dodge Dart GTS rocks, in all its 4-barrel carb glory.
