But the silver lining to this cloud was the release of the special “Last Call” editions for the Charger and Challenger. These cars aimed to recreate the magic that these cars have been known for over the years, the special editions honoring some of the Mopar icons that have ruled the track and streets. Our featured car is a 2023 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Last Call. It has an impressive spec list and some very special badging that signifies this iconic car’s provenance.
The exterior of our featured 2023 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Last Call is finished in Octane Red. A notable element is the Scat Pack Bee Spoiler badges, while the dark-finished double-spoke 20-inch wheels give this car the perfect stance. You’ll notice large brakes with the Brembo lettering, as well as a subtle lip spoiler at the back. Tying up this gorgeous exterior is a vented performance hood and an SRT front splitter. The interior is decked out with houndstooth cloth performance seats. You’ll find a central screen for infotainment and the ability to choose from various SRT driving modes. There’s reportedly all-speed traction control and launch control, too, as well as line lock. Thanks to the included active exhaust, you can even adjust the sound of the exhaust from the cabin.
Under the hood of the 2023 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Last Call is a 392 ci SRT HEMI V8 engine. This engine isn’t lacking in the power department and can be taken to the limit via a Tremec six-speed manual gearbox. Naturally, power is sent to the rear wheels, and with line-lock you can be sure of some easy and smokey burnouts if you so please.
