2011 saw the third-generation CL-Class receive a facelift, with some interior and exterior changes. This 2012 Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG echoes all those changes in its sinister black paintwork with matching 21-inch black alloys that are shod in new tires that reportedly have less than 1,000 miles on them. Being a garage-kept car, its condition is said to be immaculate. A quartet of prominent exhausts round back tell you that it packs serious performance, if the CL63 and AMG badging isn’t enough of a giveaway. The interior is also in black, with wood trim and seats four occupants. The speedometer runs all the way to 200mph, another indicator that this car is packing some serious firepower under the hood. The third-generation CL-class came with a variety of gasoline engine offerings, and this 2012 Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG, whilst not the most madcap variant, does come with some serious firepower under the hood. The 5.5L BiTurbo V8 puts out 537hp and 590lb-ft to the rear wheels via an AMG Speedshift MCT 7-speed automatic transmission. Zero to sixty can be achieved in just 4.6 seconds, and goes on to hit a top speed limited at 180mph.

Mercedes-Benz has a fine array of grand tourers, but if you want a true-blue sports car with a star on its nose, the Mercedes-AMG GT is as fine as they come.
