Nissan’s hallowed GT-R tag was first applied way back in 1969 as the top-tier variant of the popular Skyline model. Seeing these three letters on the back of a Skyline meant that it was a giant-slayer, packing potent performance and sure-footed handling prowess. With the popularity and cachet of the badge, Nissan decided to spin it off into a separate model and the Nissan GT-R was born in 2007. It hit US shores one year later, as a 2009 model and has been selling well ever since. The GT-R has a reputation for keeping up with and even thrashing models from Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche on and off the tracks, whilst costing a fraction of their price. Hence, it came to be known as the ‘budget supercar’. Here’s your chance to own one of these beauties, with this 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition. It’s for sale in Tennessee by an enthusiast owner who is its second, and comes with only 11,600 miles on the clock. Two keys are included in the sale as well. The 2014 Track Edition is very rare, as only 150 were produced for the US market, making this car a worthwhile investment too.

The GT-R’s design is rather purposeful than ostentatious, and packs curves and edges in all the right places. The four circular rear lamps are a nod to a design feature that the original Skyline had since 1972. This 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition has a lovely Pearl White exterior paint coat. Track Edition specific exterior goodies include carbon fiber air inlets and a unique front spoiler. The car rolls on a set of black six-spoke alloy wheels that are wrapped in new run-flat tires that were reportedly installed in 2020 and have around 100 miles on them. This GT-R features a black and blue leather and cloth interior theme, and seating for two occupants. The rear seat delete is part of the Track Edition and saves 10kg. A purposeful analog instrument cluster faces the driver with the rev counter sitting center face, whilst chunky paddles on the steering are on hand for gear changes. Three toggle switches in the center console control the car’s dampers and driving modes, with the serious ‘R’ mode for dialing everything up to eleven. You also get dual-zone climate control and an infotainment system with radio, CD, AUX, phone integration and navigation.

The Nissan GT-R comes with only one engine option, which is the 3.8L twin-turbocharged VR38DETT gasoline V6. Drive is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed dual clutch transmission. The power output in this 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition is 545hp, with a torque output of 463lb.ft. Tested performance figures have shown a 0-60mph sprint in just 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 207mph.

The word GT-R strikes excitement into fans of JDM cars, specifically those from Nissan. The legendary Skyline GT-R first made an appearance way back in 1969, as a high-performance derivative of the Skyline model. Since then, there were many iterations, notably the R32, R33 and R34 models which offered real performance and driving pleasure. However, in the early 2000s, Nissan changed the direction of the GT-R. It would now become a stand-alone model, in the form of a two-door 2+2 sports car. The new GT-R debuted in 2007, as the R35. The car was such a hit that it was made right up until this year, albeit with several upgrades and facelifts over the year. Widely considered to be the performance bargain of the decade, and offering true giant-killing performance, you can get your very own GT-R right now. Here’s a 26,830-mile 2010 Nissan GT-R Premium from Sebastian, Florida for sale. Read on to find out what it offers.
