The Honda NSX was widely considered to be the first Japanese supercar when it debuted in 1990. Here was a futuristic-looking vehicle, with a mid-mounted engine that popularized Honda’s VTEC variable valve timing system. The original ran for fifteen years, and was sold in North America too. Then, in 2016, a second generation NSX was introduced. Sold in the United States as an Acura, this also featured equally futuristic styling for the time, and this time, a powerful hybrid powertrain. This particular 2017 Acura NSX has got some further exterior styling tweaks, plus a JB4 tune for even more potency. What’s more, it’s up for sale having covered only 8,400 miles in its life. So if you want something that’s definitely a supercar and isn’t from one of the more mainstream supercar makers, here's a ticket to exclusivity.

White is a pleasing shade to drape a vehicle such as this 2017 Acura NSX, as it allows the car’s jaw-dropping design to stand out. In fact, you could swear that this car looks like something straight out of a sci-fi movie. Furthermore, this car wears an APR front spoiler and rear wing, it’s also got a carbon-fiber rear diffuser. Meanwhile, it rolls on Advan staggered wheels that are 20 inch units at the front and 21 inches at the rear. These are wrapped with Pirelli Trofeo performance tires for the ultimate in performance capabilities. The two-seat interior of this 2017 Acura NSX is in cream, but the steering wheel presents itself in a contrasting red hue. The car comes with all the necessary creature comforts, including powered seats, automatic climate control and a multifunction steering wheel. The carbon-fiber wheel also includes carbon-fiber paddle shifters for manual gear shifts. You’ve also got a touchscreen infotainment system at your disposal.

This 2017 Acura NSX features a twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 plus three electric motors. Hence, Honda/Acura claims that the powertrain makes up to 573hp and 476lb-ft in stock form. Since this car has a JB4 tune, plus SOS downpipes and an aftermarket exhaust with catalytic converters, you can likely expect a bit more from it. Power is sent to all four wheels but not in the way you’d expect. One of the three motors drives the rear axle, along with the internal combustion engine and its 9-speed automatic gearbox. Two more motors are positioned at the front, and drive each front wheel. Hence, the NSX is all-wheel drive!
