After delaying its introduction by three years, Chevrolet finally introduced the 7th generation Corvette (also known as the C7) in 2014. Chevy considered a mid-engine layout for the C7 but decided against it to keep production costs down and make the car more attainable by a wider segment. A part of this is because a study showed that a large number of Vette owners were aged 55 and above, and Chevy wanted the C7 to appeal to a younger crowd. After offering several versions in the coming years, 2017 saw the introduction of the Corvette Grand Sport, an edition that saw a wide-body styling and a more track-focused tuning setup. This beautiful 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport 2LT is currently up for sale in Pennsylvania with just 12,100 miles.

Swathed in what Chevy likes to call an 'Arctic White' exterior color option, this 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport 2LT is not nearly as extravagant as the 10 other color options that were available for this trim, but that takes nothing away from its uniqueness. The wide-body and aggressive stance of the Grand Sport is immediately distinguishable from a regular C7 and everything else, the subtle black accents around the car, the purple hue over the redesigned headlights, the red brake calipers that go hand in hand with the Grand Sport Logo nestled on the side of the car, even the flashy Grand Sport chrome aluminum wheels, make up for a wicked-looking sports car. For the interior, this Vette has been treated with the special 2LT package, meaning that it inherits some 20 additional features in comparison to the 1LT. Some of those features include heated and ventilated seats and steering wheel, an alert system around the car, power-folding side mirrors, and traffic navigation to name a few. This Vette also includes a remote vehicle start, a performance data and video recorder for when you're pushing it on the track, and premium Bose audio with surround sound for when you are sitting comfortably in its black/tan exterior.

Powering this American speedster is a 6.2L V8 VVT with direct injection and active fuel management that transfers 460hp and 465 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels via an 8-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission. This helps this 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport 2LT reach 60mph from a stand still in just 3.6 seconds before completing the standing quarter-mile in a mere 12 seconds.

Chevy’s C8 or eighth-generation Corvette debuted in 2020 with a new mid-engined design, supercar-inspired looks and a new level of performance, overall. The new LT2 small-block V8 makes 490hp and 465lb-ft in stock form, which is a mild increase over the C7 on paper, but translates to vastly improved acceleration and drivability as a result of tuning and the new 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox which the C8 comes with. But what if you want to make that naturally aspirated unit into a forced induction beast? Well, you get something like this 570-horsepower 2022 Chevrolet Corvette 1LT. Tuned by Elited South Tuning and fitted with a Huron twin-turbo kit, this rear-wheel drive beast could be yours. It’s up for grabs in Greer, South Carolina with under 5,000 miles on the clock. The original window sticker, two keys and owner’s manual are included with the sale as well.

The first generation of Chevy’s popular Corvette sports car and grand tourer was revealed to the public in 1953. Called the C1, it ran until 1962, and sold just over 69,000 units. Today, finding a C1 is a little tough, but not impossible. You’ll find pristinely-kept, bone-stock examples, fixer-uppers, daily runners and restomods, like this Texas-based 1959 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod. This car packs a 6.2-liter naturally aspirated LT1 from a later Corvette, as well as aftermarket Z06-style wheels and a 4L60E 4-speed autobox. These, plus many other refinements make this a classic Corvette that you can daily drive with comfort and confidence.
