The C/K series of trucks from Chevrolet was ever popular. Succeeding that lineup is the Chevrolet Silverado, which was introduced in 1975 as the top trim level for the C/K series trucks and subsequently released in 1998 as a standalone model. The beating heart of the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD 4WD Crew Cab LTZ is the top-of-the-line 6.6L Duramax V8. Power output is at 445hp, along with a magnificent 910 lb.ft of torque. This Silverado adds in FOX shocks for better handling and suspension. A Banks Power Ram Air differential cover is installed. Stopping power is enhanced by the 4-wheel antilock and 4-wheel disc brakes with DuraLife brake rotors. Driving assists include StabiliTrak, a stability control system with Proactive Roll Avoidance and traction control, an electronic trailer sway control, and a hill start assist. A 110-volt AC power outlet is available.
