The W205 C-Class you see here is the fourth generation in its segment. With the A-Class taking over as the entry-level vehicle in the Mercedes lineup, the W205 C-Class was designed with bigger dimensions than its predecessors and is often referred to as the 'mini S-Class.' Of course, Mercedes realized its potential in the performance department, and the C63 AMG was introduced in 2015. The German speedster we will go through today has just 32,250 miles on the clock. It has also been kitted out with a series of optional extras and is awaiting a new owner.
Exterior and Interior
Mercedes identified the potential in the C-Class right away. It was the first vehicle to feature Mercedes' Modular Reach Architecture (RMA) platform, a structure that uses mostly aluminum for the body, resulting in a 100kg weight saving — a key element of the vehicle's performance. This specific 2017 Mercedes Benz C-Class AMG C63 AMG S sports a 'Polar White' exterior paint with the 521 Night Package, giving the car a gloss black trim on the front grille, windows, and side mirrors. The C63 sits on 19" AMG black cross-spoke forged wheels wrapped in Michelin tires. As for the Interior, the C63 consists of a black Nappa Leather swathed cabin with gray accents and a beautiful Natural Grain Black Ash Wood trim for just a touch of elegance. Passengers will be seated in AMG performance seats, with the Premium Three package that offers the driver features like Distronic Plus with Steering Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Dynamic LED Headlights, Adaptive High beam Assist, and Air Balance, along with a parking assist package.
Engine
This is where this 2017 Mercedes Benz C-Class AMG C63 S really proves itself because tucked away under the hood of the vehicle is a 4.0L bi-turbocharged V8. This being the 'S' version, it has a bit more bite than the regular C63 AMG, sending 503hp to the rear wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission and reaching 60mph from a standstill in a mere 4 seconds before finally reaching the limiter at 180mph.
The 2020 Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Sedan represents one of the last great compact super sedans powered by a handcrafted V8, combining everyday usability with explosive performance. With 48,214 miles, this example offers a compelling balance of value and capability, delivering the raw character AMG is known for in a refined package. The “S” designation brings increased performance over the standard C 63, along with enhanced driving dynamics that make it a true enthusiast’s machine. Finished in Polar White over a Black Nappa Leather interior, this sedan blends understated luxury with aggressive performance credentials.
In today's day and age, almost everything is built to suit one purpose, whether they are any good at that is another question. For years, Mercedes-Benz and AMG have been churning out machines that embrace duality; you have all the luxuries that Mercedes brings, plus the performance wizardry brought forward by AMG. Present today is one of AMG's finest examples and takes shape with this 2019 Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupe. With a reported under 67,000 miles on its clock, this German powerhouse is the best of both worlds and is at home, be it a Sunday cruise or rapid lap times.
Comfort, practicality, and performance are words hardly heard in the same sentence. It's a tough job blending the three together. The Germans are the mysterious few that have managed to strike a balance between the elements; a closer look at their AMG offerings, and you can be rest assured that you have the luxury that rivals the best, performance that raises an eyebrow and practicality that can last a lifetime. Present today is an example of Mercedes-Benz ingenuity and looks like this 2021 Mercedes-Benz C63S AMG. With a reported 22,500 miles on the clock, this performance machine is your answer to a good time on the weekend and a practical daily if need be.
