When you’ve released a hit that’s become a cult favorite and one of your best-selling cars of all time, a follow-up is a Herculean task. This was exactly what Lamborghini faced when the time came to replace the Gallardo, which ran for ten years and still remains Lamborghini’s all-time sales leader. What the Sant’Agata squad came up with was the Huracan, which means Hurricane, and is also named after a fighting bull. Still in production, the Huracan is a force to be reckoned with (pun intended). This 2018 Lamborghini Huracan Coupe is one way to enter Lamborghini ownership, and a fine example with just 11,000 miles on it since it charged through the factory gates four years ago.

The design of a Lamborghini is unique and distinctive, and the Huracan’s iconic lines were penned by Filippo Perini. This 2018 Lamborghini Huracan Coupe wears a suit of Grigio Lynx, which is covered in a Satin Lime Green wrap, so you can choose if you want eye-catching or blend-into-the-background once you purchase her. It rolls on a set of dealer-optioned powder coated black alloys wrapped in high performance low profile tires that are required on what is effectively a road rocket. Step aboard into the Nero Ade interior, and it’s like nothing else, just like the exterior. Two electrically adjustable and heated seats with contrast stitching mean you can bring a passenger along for thrills or terrors, while you grip a flat-bottomed sporty steering wheel with multifunction controls, paddle shifters and the ANIMA mode selector switch. There’s a digital instrument cluster and infotainment system too, as well as the Techno Pack. If you want to carry some luggage, you’ll find a small frunk with a light and 12v power socket too.

Sporting a V10 much like the Gallardo, the unit in this 2018 Lamborghini Huracan Coupe is an odd-firing 5.2L unit that’s naturally aspirated, and uses direct, as well as multi-point fuel injection, as well as start-stop. Drive is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The engine puts out 572hp at a screaming 8,000rpm, and 398lb-ft at 6,500rpm, enabling a zero to sixty sprint time of just 3.4 seconds, and a top speed rated at 198mph.

The Lamborghini Huracan represented Lamborghini’s entry-level model between 2014 and 2024. However, entry level is strictly subjective, as it still bore a six-figure price tag when new, and of course, was a proper raging bull. In fact, Huracan sounds like Hurricane in Spanish, which is precisely what it is – but in Lamborghini’s case, was taken from the name of a fighting bull. Yes, Lamborghini names their cars after famous fighting bulls. In 2019, the Huracan’s facelift came, and gained the moniker EVO to signify this update. So, we can glean that this 2020 Lamborghini Huracan EVO Spyder is indeed a facelift car, and with under 19,000 miles on the clock, fairly lightly used too. Currently living in Glendale, California, this bull is a great way to experience soulful Italian exotica.

The Lamborghini Huracan was introduced in 2014 as the successor to the wildly popular Gallardo. For many buyers who are graduating to a Lamborghini, the Gallardo was the perfect entry point, and the Huracan had a tough act to follow as a result. No worries; Lamborghini was able to raise the already high-set bar even higher. The Huracan was made until 2024 and as of 2025, there’s nothing in its place yet. So, if you want a Huracan, check out this California-based 2018 Lamborghini Huracan LP640-4 Performante Spyder with a smidge over 2,500 miles reported on the odometer. It’s the perfect way to treat yourself to a wildly passionate and supremely performative Italian sports car.

It’s got a set of 23-inch Taigete wheels, the full ADAS package, Advanced 3D Package, and a lot more to enjoy.
