Twenty Twenty Four was a sad year for fans of pony cars. The only other option to Ford’s Mustang, the Chevy Camaro was discontinued that year, after over five decades and six generations of production. To mark this momentous period in GM’s history, they released a limited-edition run of Collectors Edition sixth-generation Camaros. That’s what we have here, a 2024 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS Collectors Edition that’s reportedly #9 of just 300 cars. With its 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8, 10-speed automatic gearbox and just 1,400 miles on the clock, this North Royalton-based car is a piece of history and something that’s not to bee missed.
Exterior and Interior
This sleek and retro-modern styled 2024 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS Collectors Edition comes in Panther Black Metallic, showcasing the design that made waves when it was introduced in 2016. The car features 20-inch 5-split spoke forged aluminum wheels, red-painted brake calipers and an LT1 hood badge. It’s also got the Camaro Collector’s Edition Package with badging, satin black outside rear-view mirrors, a rear spoiler and black wheel nuts plus locks package. There’s even a remote vehicle start function, allowing you to thrill onlookers with the bark of that V8 as it emanates via the car’s dual-mode performance exhaust system. The Jet Black interior of this car comes with a power sunroof, the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Premium system with navigation, automatic climate control and a digital instrument cluster. Engine
There’s a 6.2-liter V8 to move this 2024 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS Collectors Edition. The naturally aspirated unit makes a reported 455hp and 455lb-ft. It’s the same unit found in the seventh generation Chevy Corvette! Here, it sends power to the rear wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission. You’ve also got ventilated disc brakes and power steering. The car’s performance figures include a 4-second 0-60mph time.
