The S-Class nameplate is one with a long history of producing technologically advanced, full-size luxury sedans. However, for a few years between 2015 and 2021 it also came in the form of a coupe (named the C217 generation). It filled the role left empty by the retirement of the CL-Class and followed the same concept: pillarless luxury grand tourer. The S63 AMG version added the word ‘high performance’ to that description and shares the same drivetrain as its sedan counterpart. Mercedes packed the S coupe with the same industry-leading technology that the sedan got, but the market for a car of this caliber was quite niche, leading to its discontinuation after 2021 as it didn’t meet the production numbers that Mercedes wanted (leaving buyers with the option of getting an E-Class coupe or an SL now). While the relatively low sales were bad news for Mercedes, it means that current and future S-Class Coupe owners have a rarer car on their hands, potentially making it a sought-after future classic one day (especially the more desirable models like the S 63 AMG).

The most popular mainstream luxury car in the world, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class represents an aspirational point and a life goal for many. It’s a full-size luxury car that you treat yourself to, when you can afford one and have made it in life. The S-Class name came in 1972, but the model itself has parentage dating back to 1954. Of course, you’ll also find performance-oriented examples fettled by none other than AMG, those famous Mercedes-Benz tuners who are now a part of the parent company – in fact, they’ve got a line-up of Mercedes-AMG models available. Today, we’ve got a potent 2008 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG from W221 era or fifth generation of S-Class. This car comes from Bonita Springs, Florida and has amassed around 110,000 miles, ready for action.

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is the pinnacle full-size offering by Mercedes-Benz. Widely recognized as the finest mainstream luxury car in the world, ownership of an S-Class is a bucket list item for many people to aspire towards. The S-Class continues to represent the benchmark in luxury that many automakers strive to compare themselves to and has been a technological tour de force throughout the years as well. Many innovations that we take for granted today, even in basic econoboxes, likely debuted on an S-Class a few decades back. Oh, and if you’re a performance fan, there are AMG variants to enjoy. Take this 2017 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG as a perfect example. This 90,000-mile car is waiting for a new owner to thrill, with its Stage 2 tune making it even more potent than when it left AMG’s stables. The car comes to you with all maintenance up to date, so you can enjoy it sans worries.

The current or W223 generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is all the luxury full-size car goodness that many will be perfectly delighted, let alone satisfied with. But what if you want more? What if you want to stay within Mercedes-Benz’s Teutonic aura but explore something plusher and more exclusive than a regular S-Class? That’s where the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class comes into play, and we have one for sale today. This Arden Hills-based 2024 Mercedes-Maybach S580 4MATIC has got under 10,000 miles on the clock and features the Executive Rear Seat Package Plus option. That’s not all, as you ride along in its luxurious rear cabin, you can sip champagne from Maybach-branded Champagne flutes, filled from a perfectly chilled bottle that you may place within the rear refrigerator. All that and more could be yours!

Now here’s a lovely cruiser for someone to enjoy, whether they’re sixteen or sixty years old. This 1981 Mercedes-Benz 380SL Roadster hails from the hallowed R107 generation of Mercedes-Benz’s SL-Class luxury grand tourer. This generation was made between 1971 and 1989, and of the 300,000 plus cars that were made, over two thirds came to North America. The car was a cult classic with the rich and famous, or even infamous. Now, cars like this are becoming fantastic classics to own and drive, as well as the perfect way to experience a classic Mercedes-Benz drive without giving up too many comfort features. For example, this 91,112-mile machine rocks a 4-speed automatic transmission, which was one of the key upgrades for the 1981 model year. It’s also got a Blaupunkt San Francisco SQR 28 cassette radio player, a 3.8-liter naturally aspirated V8, and is up for grabs in Montclair, New Jersey.

Are you searching for a compact sports car with a retractable roof, some decent performance, reasonable fuel economy and a German badge? If so, this 2015 Mercedes-Benz SLK250 is the ideal candidate. The Mercedes-Benz SLK is well known for being a compact luxury retractable hardtop sports car. Produced between 1996 and 2020 across three generations, this Orlando-based car is from the third or final generation. It’s got the Premium Package, Multimedia Package, a 7G-TRONIC gearbox and just 69,048 miles on the clock. You can’t go amiss with a Mercedes-Benz, after all.
