Mercedes-Benz Introduced their roadster at the Geneva Motor Show back in 1963, with production beginning shortly after. The beautiful design of this two-door sports car was thanks to lead designers, Paul Bracq and Bela Barenyi, who were responsible for the creation of the patented, slightly concave, hardtop — a feature that incited the ‘Pagoda’ nickname. The car grabbed the attention of enthusiasts worldwide, claiming its place on the list of many motoring journals as one of the most beautiful cars that were ever made. This sublime example of German auto craftsmanship can be observed in Georgia with no more than 9600 miles of labor, making it a rare piece for anyone who gets the opportunity to claim ownership

Cloaked in Signal Red, this 230SL had a complete refresh in the 1980’s, clearing the vehicle of rust and repairing it professionally to bring it back its glory days. The exterior styling of the 230SL was unique to say the least, with unique components such as the bonnet, boot lid, door skins and tonneau cover being produced using aluminium to reduce the overall weight. This specific W113 is a soft top, and includes the hardtop in the sale. The car’s original Spot welds can be seen upon inspection, supporting the claim that the car is reportedly accident free. The car sits on a set of original wheels that include its original hubcaps as well as four new tires. The air-conditioned interior includes a tan hue that spreads across the door panels, dashboard and its set of leather seats along with the original steering wheel that’s said to in perfect condition.

The German Roadster comes equipped with a 2.3L inline-six-cylinder engine that includes multi-port fuel injection. It includes a replaced fuel pump along with new engine mounts and rubber. When new, the 230 SL had the capacity to produce close to 150hp and reach a top speed of 200kmh.

The famous French designer Paul Bracq deserves a round of applause from all European auto lovers around the globe. He is the creative mind behind Mercedes-Benz's most glamorous and desirable models. Among them, the Pagoda is a cherished example built between 1967 and 1971. The one Pagoda nickname stems from the design of the hardtop roof, which is similar to the roofs of traditional Asian pagodas. It was also called the Mercedes-Benz W 113 and made history as the first sports car with a "safety body." What we have here is a 1965 Mercedes-Benz 230SL showing just 47,700 miles on its clock. Its owner claims that they are the second owner of this car, and it is mostly original. It currently resides in California and is awaiting its next lucky owner.

Introduced in 1979 as a military machine on the request of the Shah of Iran, civilian variants emerged in 1979. Since then, the G-Class has gained the typical Mercedes-Benz luxury features and technological highlights, but maintains its immense off-road capabilities. This 2019 Mercedes-Benz G550 is one fine example and it’s up for sale in Salt Lake City, Utah. With 94,604 miles on it, you can tell that it’s meant to be driven. Plus, given its off-road abilities, this is the perfect family vehicle for the outdoors-loving crowd.
