This 190SL SLR Tribute has reportedly undergone a complete restoration. An extensive process, the restoration took four years until completion and included a complete rebuild of the car, a part of which was having the body bead-blasted on a rotisserie. The rebuilt car bears striking resemblance to the SLR GT car it pays tribute to. This 190SL also features a completely new red leather interior.

The engine in this 1959 Mercedes-Benz 190SL SLR Tribute is the original 1.9-liter 4-cylinder engine which, when new, put out 104hp and 114 lb-ft of torque. As part of the four-year restoration, the original engine was reportedly also completely rebuilt. Along with the engine, the original transmission has also been rebuilt. Additionally, the car features an electric fuel pump and a custom fuel tank built out of aluminum.
