One of the most historically significant cars in the world, the Ford Model T revolutionized auto manufacturing. You can thank Henry Ford for introducing mass production to automobiles, allowing us to enjoy the transportation revolution that we have had for over 100 years. Over 14 million Model Ts were made over a 19-year production run, and they mobilized countless Americans during, and well after that time. This particular 1926 Ford Model T Sedan Delivery is one example, and it’s a fully-restored example. It’s also a restomod, so you can enjoy some modern creature comforts, and most importantly, a more refined and potent driving experience than the original Model T offered. This is particularly appealing, as let’s just say that the original Model T’s controls were quite different to how we drive cars today.

This 1926 Ford Model T Sedan Delivery has been repainted in a shade of Burgundy, replete with air-brushed roses for an additional sense of exclusivity. As a Sedan Delivery model, you can see the car’s panel sides, which means it likely led a commercial and utilitarian life when it was new. Today, the car has been restored to a fine degree, from the polished chrome parts to the etched glass all round. It also rolls on a set of more modern rubber that will offer far better grip than the skinny tires of the original. Inside, you’ll find a luxurious Rolls-Royce wood-paneled dashboard, and plush leather seating. Red lap belts ensure a sense of safety that the original never offered, while the newer dashboard has comprehensive instrumentation, once again something the original didn’t have. We also spot an aftermarket head unit for some modern tunes. Behind the seats is a surprisingly capacious space for some luggage, so you could easily take a trip in this 1926 Ford Model T Sedan Delivery.

While the original will have packed a mere 20hp under the hood, this 1926 Ford Model T Sedan Delivery enjoys at least twenty times that figure, thanks to a supercharged 350ci V8 under the hood. Sporting a Magnussen 220 set-up, the engine drives the rear wheels via a Turbo 400 automatic gearbox. So, when you floor the throttle in this 1926 Ford Model T Sedan Delivery, everyone – yourself included – will be astonished at how it takes off.

Never has a car had more of an impact on automotive manufacturing processes than Henry Ford’s famous Model T. It wasn’t his first car, but it was the one that mobilized not only Americans, but the world. Made between 1908 and 1927, the Model T sold over 15 million units. Its record would not be surpassed until the Volkswagen Beetle many decades later. Another interesting fact is, as the Model T’s production processes were streamlined and optimized, the price of the car actually reduced! For example, a Model T cost US$825 in 1908 for the Runabout variant, with the Touring being priced at $850. By 1924, when this 1924 Ford Model T Touring was released, the Runabout was priced at $265! Being a Touring, this car would have cost a little more, but definitely less than $300. Isn’t that amazing? This particular car appears to have undergone a full restoration which is necessary when you consider that it’s over 100 years old! Now, it’s available in Longmont, Colorado.

If you’re not too fussed by vintage cars being true to period correctness, why not check out a Hot Rod? These are vehicles that have been customized to a great degree, retaining only a portion of their original persona, but augmenting and enhancing it with modern features. Take this 1927 Ford Hot Rod as a prime example. It’s based on a 1920s Ford, but has been extensively customized into what you see here. With a new engine, modern mechanicals, and some upgrades all over, it’s definitely a head-turner to behold. Plus, it’s got only over 6,300 miles to its name and currently waits in Texas.

Henry Ford revolutionized motoring for millions of Americans with the Model T. No, we’re not exaggerating, around 15 million were made during its 1903-1927 production run. As well as providing cheap and convenient transport to the masses, the Model T also brought about the modern automotive assembly line as we know it. Thanks to the ingenuity of Henry Ford and his engineers, the price of a Model T steadily fell, rather than rose, as the years rocked on. Today, you can still find a Model T, such as this 1926 Ford Model T which is for sale with some extra parts and manuals included. So, if you want the ultimate vintage car, and something that will truly make you appreciate how far the American automobile has come in the past century or so, this car is the place to start. It’s also perfect for showing your digital-device-toting kids what the past was like well before the word computer became mainstream.

What have we got here? Is it KITT, then? Well, not quite. It’s the exact model of Shelby Mustang used for the 2008 reboot of Knight Rider – the GT500KR. Contrary to belief, KR actually means King of the Road. It’s a term that pays homage to the original 1968 GT500KR, a fearsome, Cobra Jet toting machine. Today’s 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR features a supercharged Modular V8 under the hood to really get your pulse racing. In case that isn’t enough, this 1,400-mile machine from Iowa also has the Shaker 1000 audio system, Shelby GT500KR forged wheels and even a carbon fiber rear spoiler and front splitter. You’d better not waste any time, then. Only 1,712 units were made, by the way.

From the vintage first-generation F-Series of 1948 to today’s fourteenth generation, Ford’s famous family of pickup trucks is a success story for books, case studies and more. It’s redefined the bar for a pickup truck countless times, and even caught the attention of Carroll Shelby. Even though the great man is no more, there are Shelby F-150s around, like this current-generation 2023 Ford F-150 Shelby from Yucalpa, California. With just 12,500 miles on the clock and a V8 under the hood, this could be the ideal half-ton truck for someone with a family who needs the versatility of a pickup. Are you tired of today’s so-called SUVs that look macho but can’t handle anything more than a raised curb? If so, you need this 1969 Ford Bronco in your life. With just 40,000 miles on the clock, this first-generation Bronco has a 302 under the hood, and four-wheel drive to paw the ground with. It’s available in Albany and looks simply stunning. And wait till you hear about the surprises beneath the skin! Some hints, it’s got a more modern engine to propel it with gusto, a proper heating and ventilation system, plus some neat interior upgrades.

Now here’s a hot rod that’s true to the term to a tee. This 1934 Chevrolet Coupe Hot Rod may have started life off as a Chevrolet Standard when it was new, but it’s now been customized to such an extent, that scant little of its previous life exists. Chevys and Fords from the 1920s and 1930s are extremely popular as hot rod platforms because of their appearance, construction and ease of turning into something truly artistic. This particular car is now up for grabs in Port St. Lucie, Florida and packs a massive 502ci Chevy Big Block under the hood…well, what of the hood is left, because the engine is now partially exposed for all and sundry to see. The car rocks an autobox, rear-wheel drive and has just 20,000 miles on it.

Ford’s Model A was tasked with taking over the mantle from the wildly popular Model T. Introduced for the 1927 model year, it indeed had a yeoman task ahead, which it admirably tackled and conquered. In just five years, over 4.8 million units found homes. They were made in a variety of body styles including two-door (Tudor) saloons, four-door (Fordor) saloons, station wagons, coupes, taxicabs, delivery vans, convertibles and more. Today, these vintage Fords have found a niche as restomod platforms, as well as of course, the finely-restored true-to-original form vehicles. This 1928 Ford Model A Tudor Hot Rod is of the former, and it’s available in Panama City Beach, Florida. With just under 41,000 miles on it, this car comes with air conditioning, an automatic gearbox, a 350ci V8 and more things that make it easier to drive more often.

The 1932 Ford line-up came in, well, 1932, and was offered in various body styles. Naturally, as time passed by, the cars found themselves the subject of resto-modding, and that’s where things get interesting. You see, the vintage styling of these old Fords, paired with their platform and ease of customization meant that they would easily become hot rods. Take this 1932 Ford Dearborn Deuce as a prime example. Doesn’t it look like it’s straight out of a Warner Brothers cartoon? In fact, if you grew up in the era of Warner Brothers cartoons, you can almost hear the Looney Tunes theme playing to the background of this car’s photos. But, this car is anything but cartoonish. It’s a fine hot rod that packs a 396ci Big Block bored 30 over to a mammoth 408ci. A Tremec 5-speed manual transmission is tasked with sending power to the rear wheels, yes, you’ve got to know how to drive stick to enjoy this car. Thankfully, its red leather interior with air conditioning and Bluetooth will soon win you over. If you want to take on this beast, it’s got 6,591 miles on the clock and resides in Vacaville, California.
