Black was a popular color during wartime, and continued to be the de facto shade of car paint jobs for a few years thereafter, as industries began to grow and flourish. That’s why it’s fitting for this 1951 Chevrolet Fleetline Deluxe Restomod to wear a black coat. Of course, as a restomod, the car complements its classic lines with a set of silver wheels that bear chrome half-caps. The tires are BF Goodrich Radial T/A units with black, rather than white lettering for a smoother effect. The rest of the exterior remains largely stock, with a generous serving of polished chrome in areas such as the front grille, as well as front and rear bumpers. This 1950 Chevrolet Fleetline Deluxe presents as a fully customized classic built around a 350ci small-block Chevrolet crate V8 paired with an automatic transmission. The car blends period styling with modern drivability through power brakes, front disc conversion, upgraded cooling, and a cleanly installed aftermarket A/C system.
