Known around the world as America's sports car is the fleur-delis-badged Chevrolet Corvette. The Chevrolet Corvette is currently on its eighth generation of production and doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. The models produced from 1963 to 1967 are known as the second-generation Chevrolet Corvette or the Corvette C2 or the Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray due to its body design. What we have on offer is a highly sought-after 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray with just 3,700 miles after the build and available to be seen in the Lone Star State, Texas.

The second-generation is forever cemented in pop culture by featuring a 1967 example in one of the scenes in the 1997 movie Con Air. This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette is finished off in a smooth Eggshell White color, and it sits on a set of period-correct looking aftermarket wheels. The current owner reports that the car was purchased around 20 years ago and reportedly the car is barely driven, but just keeps it running once in a while with the headlights functioning. The car comes with a brand new convertible top in black. the side exhausts on the car are a certain eye-catcher. As per the owner, the headlights seem to work on and off, but the pop-ups are not in functioning order. The interior is finished off in a contrasting black color. The 3-spoke Chevrolet Corvette branded steering wheel in metal and vinyl accentuates the classic looks of this car. The passenger-side features the Corvette lettering on the glove compartment door. The factory radio and clock are functioning. The last oil change was done in early 2021.

On the Chevrolet Corvette C2’s release, it was available with a myriad of engine and transmission options. The engine is reported to be non-numbers matching but is period correct. Stopping power is courtesy of power disc brakes on the front and drum brakes on the rear. Power steering is available but is not installed and will be given with the car at sale.

Chevy’s second-generation Corvette was made from 1963 to 1967, but across that relatively short lifcycle, over 117,000 examples found homes. This highlights how popular the Corvette was back then, much like it is now. The second generation or C2 brought about many features that we know from later ‘Vettes, such as pop-up headlamps, the boat-tailed styling, and the exclusive use of V8s for the Corvette – the C1 did offer a six cylinder early in its lifecycle but that wasn’t deemed worthy for a top-tier sports car. Today, we’ve got a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe for sale from Shohola, Pennsylvania, and let us tell you it’s a catch. With a growling 327 under the hood, this is classic American car nirvana at its finest. Plus, given the great condition of the car, it’s a sure-fire appreciating asset if you continue to look after it. If you’re interested in getting your hands on this beauty, we’re waiting for your call or DM.

Chevy’s third-generation Corvette of 1968 to 1982 was the best-seller in the entire range, in terms of generational numbers. Thanks to its super-long production run, over 542,000 were made, despite it carrying on through the dreaded Malaise Era. During these dark times for automotive enthusiasts, Chevy worked hard to maintain the Corvette as one of the fastest American cars around – of course that was a subjective term, but impressive, nonetheless. Hence, a C3 Corvette is a robust way to enter the world of classic American cars. Want to know more? We’ve got a 1977 Chevrolet Corvette for sale from Littleton, Colorado right here. Chevy’s answer to Ford’s pony car challenge, the Camaro came in 1967 and brought a sister along for the ride, in the shape of the Pontiac Firebird. This was a smart move by General Motors as it allowed them to sell two suitably varied models in the same segment but with much of the same underpinnings, engines and other components. The Firebird was axed in 2002 but the Camaro continued to be made until 2024. That makes it the second longest-running pony car in history. Today, we’ve got a nice first-generation 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS for sale in St. Cloud, Florida. The first new Chevy truck to come out since World War II ended, the Advance Design era ran between 1947 and 1955. It replaced the older AK series and was bigger, stronger and sleeker in design. The range started with the 3100 half-tonner, and went on through the one-ton 3800, and into chassis cabs and medium-duty trucks. Now, the Advance Design has found some fame as a restomod platform. That’s what we have here, a 1952 Chevrolet 3100 Restomod from Smithville, Texas. This truck has undergone a full makeover, including a new 396ci V8, a 4-speed automatic gearbox, air conditioning and much more. If you want to rock and roll around in something different to your typical classic car, this is a fine option to consider.
